Redfrost couldn't help purring proudly, and said: ''Good idea, let's go!'' He picked up his squirrel, nuzzled Feathermist, and led the way to the other prey. He thought it would be better to gather their caught prey, and then maybe catch some more.

Feathermist smiled, feeling pride swell in her chest. She picks up her catch and hurries after Redfrost, keeping an eye out for any signs of other prey. Feathermist was satisfied with what they had already caught, and knew they'd make a huge contribution to the clan.

Rosestar pads into the medicine cat's den. "Mapleroot, Whitebark," she mews, dipping her head respectfully to the she-cats.

Redfrost walked trough the forest with Feathermist, both keeping an eye out for prey. Redfrost carried his mouse and squirrel, and Feathermist her mouse. Redfrost was happy they caught prey.It was kind of funny how Redfrost carried his prey. He had the mouse in his jaws, and the squirrel was lying over his back. When they arrived by camp, he dropped his prey at the fresh-kill pile.

Feathermist follows closely behind, dropping her mouse on top. She smiles, stretching her back legs. "That was fun." She laughs, remembering Redfrost falling into the brambles. "Thank you for inviting me to come." Feathermist purrs, remembering her secret love for the tom.

Rosestar smiles. "I have to decide on a new deputy before moonhigh tonight," she mews. Rosestar already knew exactly who she was choosing. "There will be a clan meeting once the hunting patrol gets back--I thought you might like to know." She stands up again,
shaking her fur. Rosestar could smell all the different herbs; none of which she knew how to use, of course. She was glad AmberClan had such a reliable medicine cat.

''No problem, i would do it again in a heartbeat.'' He couldn't descripe what he felt for her... It was like being well, feeling unstoppable when Feathermist was near him. Once in his live he would tell her. Only if she knew...

Feathermist purrs uncontrollably. She felt amazing being with Redfrost. "Me too." She mews, looking at her paws shyly.

"Good to hear." Rosestar purrs, and turns around. "I'll see you both shortly." She mews, leaving the medicine cat's den. The hunting patrol had come back during their conversation--that meant it was time for the clan meeting already. She gives her chest a lick, and jumps up onto the great rock, and sits. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath the rock for a clan meeting!"

''The gatherings beginning!'' The Tom meowed exited, sitting close to Feathermist. He waited for the whole thing to get started. He saw his sister sitting on the rock.

Feathermist sits beside Redfrost, gazing up at the great rock. Who will Rosestar choose? Perhaps Redfrost--they are siblings, afterall.

Rosestar gazes out at her cats, waiting for them to settle. She flicks her tail, beckoning for silence. "Cats of AmberClan," she begins,
the cool night breeze against her flank. "It is time I choose a new deputy for our humble clan." Rosestar looks upon them all--their eager eyes glowing in the dark.

"I say these words before our heavenly ancestors. Whitebark," Rosestar shifts her gaze to meet the she-cat. "You are a loyal and brave cat--and I am proud to call you the new deputy of AmberClan." She smiles, and beckons for her to come up.
