Okay so don't hate me but I'm going to go against my word and extend this by 3 days!

I thought I would be able to have the time, since I've just got back from uni, but it turns out things are a little hectic at the moment.

Danger. Fear. Regret. Those were the conditions in which this beautiful child entered the world. You see, she was a mistake. An error. A bastard child. Unwanted by the parents or the world. It's even a wonder how she managed to survive.
Yet despite this, her memory of childhood resembles that of any abandoned household pet.
Temperance Isolde De La Rosa was found abandoned in an alleyway. She was quite lucky to be found by such an affluent man as Ricardo De La Rosa himself. The businessman has just been walking over to where he parked his car when he heard the cries of small children. Despite seeing two little bundles, favour shined on the one shouting louder, her face as red as fire. So he picked her up and took her home. If you asked him now what possessed him, he still wouldn't have an answer. His wife immediately accepted the girl, as she hadn't succeeded in producing a female even after six boys. Although Allegra de la Rosa saw the red hair, and promise of temper, she named the young girl Temperance. Perhaps to try to ward off the spirits of stubbornness clinging to the child.
Temperance was pampered as a child, she never wanted, with a driver and a nanny always tending to her, beautiful clothes from Allegra's children's fashion line, and all the toys she could ever dream of. What more could she want? However, the de la Rosas never legally adopted Temperance, so what a shock it was for her when Allegra gave birth to a beautiful little girl of her own. Slowly all the attention Temperance enjoyed dwindled. Eventually, she found herself abandoned at school, never to be remembered again.
This is where her true story begins. Out on the streets without any prior experience, what was the first thing that came to the mind of a hungry ten year old girl? Stealing. And that's exactly what she did. She didn't have any prior experience... perhaps it just ran in her blood, like an instinct. Temperance still can't remember the details of her first heist, but she recalls just knowing exactly what to do. No one told her before she stole the apple from the cart and swiftly escaped, munching joyfully. And the next time she was hungry, she did the same thing. Now, Temperance of course missed the luxury she enjoyed and quite resented the little tan bundle of pink clothes that kicked her out of her home. No, Temperance didn't appreciate it at all.
She wasn't quite sure how the anger at an innocent baby thay didn't mean to enter this world turned into her picking fights almost every day. The de la Rosas were informed but obviously had turned a blind eye to the child they had picked up. And that is how Temperance went from a street child to one in the Foster care System. She had already steeled herself against getting attached to them, so she often came, picked fights with children, and was sent away. One time, she stayed with a family that cared. She came to care about them too, and even stopped misbehaving temporarily. But of course, fate had other ideas in mind for Temperance as the lovely young couple got into an accident one fateful rainy day. After that, Temperance ran away. She no longer had the energy to fight, the drive to prove something. What was the point? She just wanted to get away. Get away from all the pain.

So sorry for the wait! After a lot of deliberation (seriously there were some awesome forms; you guys didn't make it easy on me! </3) I've decided that the winner of this darling is Karmel!

I was seriously impressed by your form! The creativity in the backstory is astounding- the way you managed to create such an intriguing world to surround Avalon's character is something you should take pride in. I hope to see more of Avalon's development in time <3

I'd also like to give a quick shout out to neondisaster and MimiBitz. You guys also had very impressive forms; I hope that you'll use your characters for other adopts! <3
