Everything was overwhelming the she-cat, that fact that whoever tried to kill her was a Riverclan cat was what toom the most toll. "One of our own... just tried to kill me," she spoke with a voice laced in disbelief and anger.

'What?' Potoostar's eyes widened, although it didn't seem like he could. 'One of our own? But who'd do that, after such a disaster?'

"What?" Sweetnose's protest seemed feeble to his ears. "What?" He repeated, this time louder and with more force. Another step took him closer to his daughter, and his tail found it's way over her shoulders as if to comfort her. "Are you sure?" The elder didn't want to doubt his own kin's words, she would have no reason to lie, but it was hard for him to even begin to believe that another cat would try and kill their clanmates. Especially after such a tragedy. He flicked his ears at Potoostar, acknowledging the tom's words. "Surely we would be knit closer, not torn apart in these times. You know you didn't fall?"

"What!" Beesting took a step back in shock, "Who was it? They obviously failed, did you see a face?" He believed his sister when she placed blame on one of their own. She had been the one attacked after all, she should know.

Fadedbriar trotted over to the commotion, his eyebrows knitted. "Was it a rogue? Are you sure it was a Riverclan cat?"

Riversplash sneezed.
She poked her head out over the edge of her nest, swallowing hard as a sharp pain sliced her throat.
She was still recovering from the sickness, which had hit her hard, and was confined to her nest. Not caring what kind
of scolding she got, she stepped outside for a breath, the fresh air soothing her throat.
It was then she noticed how empty camp seemed, but her mind drifted toward the medicine cat den, and the thought of honey
distracted her long enough to where she forgot her uneasy feeling.
She was surprised when she poked her head into the den and Cloverheart wasn't there.
"Maybe I'll just help myself." She muttered under her breath, but she knew she would feel guilty if she did, so
she backed out.
