Snowfeather looked confused. "Well, maybe she just went hunting. Or on a patrol." Snowfeather saw that this didn't reassure the apprentice. She sighed, saying, "Why don't we try to track her scent?"

Darkpaw looked at Snowfeather. "I know shes not on Patrol." she mewed.

"Let's go look for her." mewed Snowfeather. She was getting worried, now that Darkpaw ruled out a patrol. It wan't like Specklepaw to wander off without telling someone. "Where did you see her last?" she asked.

"By the nursery" Darkpaw recalled.

"Let's start there." said Snowfeather, walking off.
