Oops I'm late with announcing new books;
The third book in the new series, A shattered Sky has come out a while back. Overshadowed by this book is a new novella bind-up, Legends of the clans, containing Spottedleaf's Heart, Pinestar's Choice, and Thunderstar's Echo.

And for the next book, Darkest Night, we have to wait until November 7th.

Last but not least we have the super edition NOBODY ASKED FOR but we are getting it anyways; Tigerheart's Shadow. In september. Yep. A whole 500 pages feauturing Tigerbutt. It will also feauture the cat in @saffron; 's awesome drawing.

After reading Spottedleaf's heart I hated her more then I did before. She was all like 'I just now love you Thistleclaw, even though im an apprentice and your a warrior' then later 'I am going to be a medicine cat because you chose the dark forest over me!' she was just so annoying and this really didn't help her character omg >.<

Yes!!! I recently purchased a Tales from the Clans from Barnes & Nobles, and I just read that story (along with Pinestar's choice) on Sunday. I was really hoping she'd be mates with him, and choose to be a warrior -Even though I already knew she would probably reject him one way or another and be a medicine cat-, but I was angry with her. If the plot ever did change, I suppose she would have kits with Thistleclaw and later on maybe even Firestar (Sandstorm would be furious). -_- Honestly, she would have been my favorite if she became a daredevil warrior like Mapleshade...

what annoyed me was the blurb on the back (ok, thats one of the four main things that annoyed me).
it said she became a medicine cat to save her clan.
NO NO NO AND NOO.

she only became a med because she was mad at thistleclaw because of their breakup.
SERIOUSLY, the blurb on the back was sooooo wrong...

SPOILERS FOR Spottedleaf's Heart Below!

@WafflesTheCat- No offense to you, but I disagree with your opinion. Thistleclaw was way older then Spottedleaf and was technically flirting with her when she was a kit. He was so upset over Snowfur, acting so upset, but then he crushes on a cat younger then his son. The age gap is plain out creepy. She was also stupid about this and this ruined any character development they had. Spottedleaf loved caring for her clan and now it sais she changed rank because another cat chose to train in the dark forest? That was really stupid! It just makes her a lot worse of a character and their relationship was sick and weird. This is my opinion though.

@save seedcakes- I know right? She didn't even stick to her personality. She was bossy as a kit, only kind to those she liked, AKA Thistleclaw. Then she was supposed to love her job, but she showed signs of disliking her job. To change rank only because things didn't go your way? This really ruined her character. I used to say they made Spottedleaf to perfect, but now I can say she has one flaw. She is a creepy weirdo who likes cats that are to old for her or to young for her.
