"are you sure?" Whitefoot asked, trying not to flinch or get angry at the blindness thing. "It really would be no problem, besides I could always use a little extra practice getting around and hunting and stuff."

"Well, when you put it that way, alright. Mind getting me some water please?" She purred, trying not to sound demanding.

She closed her eye and tried to fall asleep. But she couldn't stop thinking about what would happen. Would she have to retire to the elders den early.

She picked up a ball of moss that she had used when she had practiced pouncing. She walked over to the elders den noticing a small hole in the side of the den. She set the moss down and darted off to get a stick. She wove the stick through the den wall and then covered it with the moss.

She smiled down at the camp. "That worked out beautifully." She purred.

Owlkit dropped a vole in front of Mapleheart. "Sorry for waking you up, but this is for you. Build your strength." He purred.

"Alright!" Whitefoot said, glad to have something to do. "I'll be back as soon as I can." She purred, making her way out of the den. She heard Rosekit on the side of the den. "Hey Rosekit, would you like to help me fetch some water for Dragonfall?" she asked the younger cat. She could always use the extra help when going places.

She nodded and began to pick at the prey. She had hardly eaten it before pushing it away. "You should bring it to someone else. I'm not that hungry."

She smiled over at the elder. "Oh yes! That would be fun!" She padded over to Whitefoot's side.

Whitefoot smiled. "great! Lets go then." She said, carefully heading towards the entrance. "Oh and please tell me if there are any holes in the ground, those are one thing I have troubles with." She explained to the kit.

Owlkit smiled a little. "Sorry, but if your paw cannot be healed, you need energy to walk." He meowed, nudging the vole closer to her.

Dragonfall nodded. (Which kit?)

"Of course Whitefoot! Don't worry." She meowed padding along beside the elder. "There's a small hole to your left." She meowed after a few moments.

She nodded and finished half of the vole. "I'm stuffed." She meowed honestly, she pushed the half eaten piece of prey away.
