Then you are probably coloring on the wrong dog/wolf. xD Hide the layer and see which color disappears, then unhide it and color in that dog. Keep doing that for the pups, then for the one that is coloring for the mother, she is laying down and the father is the one standing. ;) Oh yea, and make sure you have the 'Lock Alpha' box ticked or you'll go out of the lines. ((I'm good. :D))

Look, I know which layer goes to which wolf. I have Lock Alpha on and I have the 'Color (alfa)' on. But I don't see any other color besides the color of the wolf. Like the father is pink.

Oh, click on that layer and when it is highlighted in blue, try coloring again. ;) That must've been your problem.
