Wob licked himself clean. He had not a worry in his mind and was thinking of puns to pull on Cap. He had yawned. He looked out across the ocean. He turned back to Cap, ''i'm going to take a short walk.'' Cap was laying on the sand on his back, ''sure! just don't be gone too long, and if you see any cats come back to me immediately!'' Wobbaly was very happy and trotted off into the trees.

Ice touched noses with Flower as well and watched the enthusiastic young apprentice bound off on her mission. Ice padded out of the lieutenant's den as normally as possible. She went to sit down somewhere around the entrance. She didn't want to look too obvious; who knows where Shadow's followers may be watching? Please, Flower. I'm counting on you, thought Ice as she watched the tribe cats go about their business.

It is so simple a thing... a tribe living in a wrecked ship. There could be more tribes out in the world. But no... other cats (especially Little and Shadow) had to target this particular tribe, and that made Ice angry. Ice had felt so much pain and sorrow, and she couldn't even get some peace and quiet. She tried to meditate, but of course, it didn't work. I hope Flower hurries up with her sample collecting. Though, I suppose it would be better to travel by night... Ice kept thinking and making up new possibilities while meditating and waiting for Flower.
