Amy kept her eyes on Lilith, she didn't talk much to the ladies and stuck to being quiet like she normally was. She wasn't really willing to strike up a conversation if they weren't going to speak to her about something.

he noticed a commotion going on by the glass and noticed human females watching all of them, mainly the two by the glass. he sauntered up to lilith and chuffed questioningly to her.

bobbing her head to the little calf, she chirped and swam towards him, circling around him so he'd be tempted to play. the large male orca clearly didn't want to play, and it was up to flipper to maneuver the small one away from him. nudging the calf, she called again and bared her teeth playfully.

Smiling to Lillian, Meghan nodded. "Oh yeah, we always make sure there are extras, just in case." She smiled, pausing at the door of the supply closet she was looking for. Pushing open the door, she scanned the dark room, but this one held nothing but a mop and some rolls of blue tissue paper. "Nope - it's the next one!" She said, half to Lillian, half to herself. Backing out of the small room, she moved to the next one, passing the door to the Sea Lion viewing area as she did so. It was a rare moment that Meghan passed it by - she loved watching the playful animals, but now she was on a mission. Opening the closet, she looked around, spotting several red, plastic balls and various different hoops. Looking back to Lillian, she raised an eyebrow. "Do any of them look okay?" She asked, suddenly unsure. If she were alone, she would have picked one of the plastic balls, but in the presence of another professional, she thought she needed a second opinion.

Blinking as harsh light shone in a crack in the curtains, Adam shot straight up, cursing his phone's quiet alarm. Once again, he had slept through the alarm, and now he was late. Almost hesitantly, he checked the phone's clock, groaning when he saw that, not only was he late, he was spectacularly late. Bounding out of bed, he dressed quickly, pulling on a camo jacket over his black t-shirt and jeans. "Now no one will see me, so they won't know I'm late!" He laughed to himself, taking the minute or two to make sure his hair was perfect before he pulled on his trusty black beanie, stuffing his phone and keys into his pocket before launching out the door.
Jogging softly to the A Building - he didn't want to break a sweat, after all - he let himself into the building, glancing around for anyone. No one seemed to notice him, so he straightened out his jacket, making himself look like he had been there since looong before he was supposed to be. Checking his jacket pocket, he pulled out the little book that contained the list of animals that they currently had at the rescue. Many little, colourful pictures looked back at him as he tried to decide what to do first.

Flipping himself over, Yera remained on his belly, watching the female. Licking his nose, he planned his next attack, but every so often was interrupted by a playful blow from the female. Grumbling softly, the cub then stood, tail flicking. Plodding away, he then lowered himself, spinning to face the female. His gaze fell on his next piece of prey, and, as quietly as a three month old cub could be, he stalked it for a few seconds before racing forward, leaping onto the dark tip of Ashki's tail, his sharp baby teeth closing on the tuft of hair.

Glad that the female understood what he had meant, Ragnar turned his head, showing clear disinterest in the female. Glad of his newfound peace, he allowed himself to rise to the top, taking a deep breath. He lowered back to his usual floating spot, turning back to look out of the glass. There was no danger in the glass.
Hearing excited squeaks and clicks, Ragnar turned his large head, spotting a young female far too close. Letting out a long, low noise once again, he warned the youngster to leave him alone. While he was still relatively young himself, playing didn't come naturally to him. And, even though this little one was.. well... little, she was female. And to Ragnar, that meant nothing but bites and headbutts. Baring his teeth to the female in what, to humans might seem like a smile, he let out a rumbling vocalization again, clearly telling the calf to leave him be.

Turning with a wide mouth as the male approached her, as though she were threatening to bite him, Nimue shut her eyes in a wide, smile-like expression, then, watching him for a second, took off across the pool after him. She chased him, unable to get the speed to catch him. Frustrated, she paused, then brightened, an idea forming in her head. Spinning in place, she took off in the opposite direction, hoping to run in to him on his next lap.

Long legs stood steady, but Tala was almost sure that she was trembling. The male was huge, and, even though he was injured, he could easily kill her if he decided to. Licking her nose, Tala glanced around. There was no one who would be able to save her. "I'm sorry too..." She said softly, barely audible. Golden eyes glancing back to male, she allowed her tail to wag once, trying to make herself feel better, and show the male that she was genuine.

Moving his beak down to his talon, Achilles cleaned the scaled skin, picking various mites and dirt from the rough skin. A tiny noise caught his attention - so quiet that it may have been his imagination. Yellow eyes scanned the area, pupils dilating before contracting once again as he spotted a female within the enclosure. Right - he wasn't alone in here. He had been here so long that others came and went - most of the time, he didn't even notice if they did. Clicking his beak, he considered what his options might be -should he approach her? Or leave her be. Deciding to continue to ignore her, he went back to his grooming, raising his talon to his beak once more.

Lillian stopped as Meghan had stopped, but she walked again, sighing quietly. as they finally reached the next room, Lillian looked at her,"You sure this is the right one now??" she chuckled and shook her head. As Meghan asked the question, she looked inside. The leopard didn't really have a rope yet and so Lillian looked at the older toys. There was a small red rope and some plastic balls. Lillian picked up the rope and looked at it,"This might be good," she mused,"you can choose something too, I'm not the only one here."

Majesty walked over to the female and scratched the glass separating the tigers from the humans calmly. He wasn't trying to get out, just a sort of playing. "Hello." He said with a small smile, looking at the female tiger. Majesty enjoyed meeting other tigers.

Laughing, Amelia pointed to Toffee. "Look - she's sticking her tongue out!" The female tiger had pretty light colored markings, unlike Majesty's more orangish markings. The tigers were Amelia's favorite enclosure. Her favorite animal was a tiger, after all.
