Do you plan your stories before you write them?
Hahaha no. Not usually that is. (But I also don't plan essays before I write them soooo)
So my first novel, Before and After is about 95k words, and I didn't plan that out at all. But I also restructured it after I wrote the first draft. The one I am working on now (Tentative title, The High Courts) is 85k at the end of the first draft, but I also didn't plan that out, lol. I get really stuck if I plan things out, so I tend to get frustrated if things don't work out the way that I planned.
What's your favorite type of scene to write?
Either scenes where characters really connect for the first time, or scenes that have to do with magic. It's really fun to describe the way that magic works in my story, and I loooove it.
