Once he actually pays attention to the leaders speaking, and when there's a lull, Talonstar steps forward for his own announcements.
"QuartzClan is thriving. We were prevented from coming to the Gathering last time due to a late flood, but everyone is safe. I'm proud to announce that we have a new warrior, Poppyflight, and an apprentice, Blackpaw. Both are at camp tonight, but their contribution has been great." His part done, he steps back for the next leader.

Heronstar bristled up slightly, still uncertain of her place among the leaders as she made Gustclan's announcements. "Greenleaf has been eventful for Gustclan. We have seen the arrival of two new warriors, Myrtleclaw and Argusheart, both of whom have proven themselves to be fine warriors. We also saw our first kits; to myself and to Chubtail- Desorakit and Shellkit." Chubtail looked a tiny bit embarrassed at the attention he had not been expecting, but it seemed the right thing to say to Heronstar.

(Okay, done, sorry for the definitely not being late at all. May edit this tomorrow to include more RP type stuff too, but for now this works, at least for me.)

Jaystar purred at the memory of Squirrelstar returning the Sandfur's three kits, remembering how the two tom's tried to blame poor Sorrelwhisper for it. "Haha, yes. Bring her back for me." She said before watching her friend do her announcements listening advently until she was done, to which she immediately licked behind her ears as a comfort. As the next leaders stepped up and delivered their announcements, Jaystar opted to ignore them in favor of comforting her friend, but at the sound of Sorrelstar announcing her clan, the gray molly looked up. A slight glare stayed on her face though it loosened when Sorrelstar announced needing to discuss. Whatever that meant..

Jaystar took her turn to step forward, looking around the clearing before letting her voice ring out. "As usual, Soulclan has been thriving. Just recently my daughter Cinderblaze gave birth to four kits. Sadly she lost one but the rest are as strong and healthy as warriors. Tinykit has become an apprentice and Cloudkit and Silverkit are not far behind. The prey is running wild and our herbs are growing in abundance. And despite our recent battle, we are strong and ready to defend. That is all." She mewed before stepping back beside Squirrelstar.

Hearthflame relaxed immediately when Weaselstorm started to speak rather than yell at him for his affection.. much like his 'family' had done back then. He even laughed at the mention of thorn pulling. "A tedious task but strongly necessary if you don't want whining warriors milling around the medicine den." He quoted his mentor with a sad laugh. Though he didn't miss the words the tom spoke, and he was glad he didn't feeling his chest begin to thump dangerously in his chest. "I've missed you too... A-A lot." He admitted.

Nettlefoot watched Littlestep walk away with a pout and a glare, getting a feeling that she wouldn't get along in the molly... "Hmph..." She voiced her displeasure before looking at Malloweyes as she spoke. "Oh? A new apprentice? He sounds wonderful. Maybe I can have Bouncepaw treat him to a friend someday hmm?" She chuckled before looking off to find where her sister had gone. "Barkknot? Oh the poor thing is doing just fine! The clan loves it's new scratching post~" She remembering the last time she visited Barkknot the kit had a fresh new wound bleeding from above her eye. "I've convinced Jaystar to keep her around though I can only imagine that she'd be dead by next New-Leaf with how much the clan claws at her. It's quite entertaining to say the least."

"Wow. So you were bad before an still bad now. I love it." She said with a amused flick of her tail. She watched breifly as an apprentice walked pat before swiping her claws at them absent-mindedly, causing them to squeak apprentice run off. She chuckled for a moment before sighing. "We're one in the same you know? Nettlefoot and I started young.
Our rogue group was blood thirsty and we as kits were no exception. Heck, about seven moons into our lives, we took the lives of our mother and father. No real reason other than my father trying to teach me how to swim only for me to nearly drown. I learned sure. And Nettle and I taught him a lesson too, killing mother first in front of him then taking him down." She said with a casual lick of her paw. "Moons after and we took down our groups leader, becoming the yyoungest set of cats to lead a group."

Shinestar stepped forward, sweeping her gaze over the crowd. "Solarclan has been thriving as well. Larksong has given birth to four beautiful kits; Heronkit, Dovekit, Whisperkit, and Silverkit. Smudgepaw has also become a warrior, Smudgetail." Smudgetail, who was in the crowd, smiled up at the Solarclan leader. "Prey has been plentiful in our territory as well as herbs. That is all I have to say." She stepped back and sat down.

Honeystar smiled. "Thankfully, our trees keep us nice and cool. The weather has been perfect!" All too soon, it was time to start the announcements. She waited her turn and after Solarclan spoke, told the Gathering her news. "Forestclan is pleased to announce our first apprentice, Applepaw. His mentor is Acornstream, a very capable warrior." She paused for a moment before continuing. "We are also pleased to announce that Duckpelt is expecting kits soon. We hope that they will be born healthy." Finished with her announcements, Honeystar leaped off the Speaker's Rock and motioned to her clan to follow her home.

"Nice to meet you!" said Birchnose. The leaders started talking and she said no more. After Honeystar finished, the deputy stood. "I'm sorry we didn't speak for longer; I hope that we can see each other soon!" She left with her clan.

Crowcloud nodded. "Thanks for the tip. I haven't had much time recently to go out." Once the leaders had finished speaking, he said, "Thanks for the company. I hope that we can meet again. Maybe trade herbs?" He left the Gathering with a smile on his face.

Acornstream grinned. "I'm starting my own family; my mate, Duckpelt, is expecting kits. Do you have any tips?" Once Honeystar had finished speaking and motioned for her clan to follow, he groaned. "Ah, maybe next time. I have to go. It was nice to meet both of you!"

Acornstream went to fetch his apprentice, who was talking to some other apprentices. "C'mon," he said quietly. "It's time to go." He let Applepaw finish saying goodbye, and the two of them followed Honeystar home.

"Wow!" exclaimed Applepaw. "That's a lot of apprentices. Your clan must be huge!" He wanted to ask more but didn't get the chance, as Honeystar had finished speaking and was now motioning for them to leave. But he refused until Acornstream came over and reminded him that it was time to go. "Goodbye," he said, slightly put out. He wanted to keep talking. "See you next time!"

Powerderbeeze smiled to have some help from their allies. Tails flicking, they led the way, scenting for the foxes. "As we've stated before, we don't know how many are here," she murmured to Faddedstar and the other clan's patrol. "But we are grateful for the help and will be in your debt once again," she murmured.

Relief fizzing through her body, Sedgetail leapt up and darted over to her clanmates, greeting them with a happy mew. Hawkfeather nosed her affectionately, while Woolyfur welcomed her back with a purr. Morningstar's gaze was fond but stern. "That's enough for now. We'll celebrate your return back at camp." He promised. Turning back to Sagestar, he murmured, "And yours. Good luck on your journey and May Starclan light your path." With a flick of his tail, the orange tabby turned to leave. Sedgetail glanced back, her gaze finding Burrwhisker's. Was this the end? Was she never going to see him again?
