its been a couple days but i'm all caught up on bnha's manga
i !!! really love the series, i just love all the characters so much
i used to really genuinely dislike bakugou but ive warmed up
to him since then, but his attitude still irks me a bit rip
i really love toshinori <33 hes just such a sweet character ugH
but the two dorks in my sig are my bby's aaaa
i love mirio so much ?? hes adorable bless him
he very much reminds me of vault boy LMAO

ive been kind of burnt out on anime so this season im only watching aot & bnha
but im curious about the other series! if any of them are really good then i'd
like to know so i can watch them in the future :>

I've been watching a bunch of the new spring animes, and I gotta say my top favorites so far are Sakura Quest, Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor, and Anonymous Noise [which I saw the premiere at a con woo]. I was really disappointed in the start of Clockwork Planet, I don't know how it'll end up because I haven't read the manga. Eromanga Sensei also looks really promising and cute.

Besides the new spring animes, I've been watching Danmachi after seeing the english dub premiere at a con. I'm watching the sub version now, but it's pretty good! I really enjoy it. Hestia is so freaking cute.

Also, I've been thinking about maybe every Friday or so I'd stream a few episodes of a series on Rabbit using my CR acc? We'd vote on a poll the series to watch and stuff,,, thoughts? Has this been done before in this thread?
I just find it fun watching anime with others and discussing.

BNHA is one I've heard of a lot, and so is Bungo Stray Dogs. Can someone give me reasons of why they like these anime/mangas?

Well, I love Bungou Stray Dogs & Boku No Hero Academia
for several reasons. I suppose the most obvious reasons why i like
them is because the story. Both anime/manga series are about
superpowers, which has kind of been a bit trendy as of late. besides
one punch man, i'd say BSD and BNHA also express superpowers in
a really unique way.

Bungou is a bit more serious? It definitely has it's humor, but not
only is it a good storyline but every character is based on a real
person who existed. Every person they are based on was either a
writer, a painter, or a poet. (for example, F. Scott Fitzgerald, the
author of The Great Gatsby, Edgar Allan Poe, and many many others.)
Which is a really interesting concept. I think I appreciate the fact
that its not just japanese artists that i dont know much about (sadly)
but also other artists and creative thinkers from around the world
and I personally take a lot of joy in seeing some of my favorite
people being depicted in the manga/anime.

the character's backgrounds are all very well done, too. they all
intertwine with the real person they're based off of in some way,
which is great! I love small details, especially when they make so
much sense lol.

Boku No Hero Academia falls under one of my favorite genres:
shounen. I love watching the main character prevail, even though
the main character can be kind of op :p I think the biggest reason
for me enjoying this series specifically is the characters. I love
how including superpowers into a fictional world just adds so much
more dimension to a character. I love seeing the really out there
powers that you wouldn't have ever imagined !

Sometimes the same old tropes and cliches can be old but i am
eating up the whole superpower trend. It's just so much fun! &
bungou stray dogs and boku no hero are very different to me, and
it's nice to see different variations of the same thing. (to me.)

for instance, in the BNHA world, having a power or a 'quirk; is very
common, but i believe (my memory is a little fuzzy) not as many
people have powers in BSD.

I really recommend them both (: I think both series are kind of
on different sides of the power spectrum, if that makes sense?
They're refreshing and the characters will probably steal your heart.

but it's really good oh lord :,) i should invest in manga but im poor please help me

&& also it might just be me but a quick input in bsd!
i feel like the humor is a little forced? i did enjoy season 2 a lot more because they didn't try to stick jokes into every second possible,
and it became more enjoyable to me to watch because i wasn't cringing every second? but it might?? just be me??? since it's a pretty "serious" anime-slash-manga anyway ;;

again i'm not the most opinionated person but ! idk

The new BNHA episode was cool!! Spoilers in tiny I guess??

Deku won! I was cheering I thought he did such a great job. As someone who didn't read the manga, I was surprised that Todoroki was the fire hero's son :0 I want to learn more now ah, especially about their relationship. Also the introduction of the pink haired girl character!! She was super cute and I loved her machines and personality.

no, it's not just you, honestly i always hated the humor in bsd. i don't want to offend anyone but there's times when humor is good and all and then there's times where i'm like: why?? i mean you have parts where it leads you to think that there's something serious going down, the next moment it's a joke ahA
i enjoyed season 2 more as well! the moment they went into the dark ages i was like yeah boyyy and the fact that i didn't see the detective agency for those few episodes made me grateful. i prefer the port mafia + guild.
