alpha this is the highest rank in the pack. alpha's are usually related, their pups becoming the next alpha. they are usually strong wolves, who are fair-minded and bulky, or rarely a thin and agile wolf. an alpha's mate becomes the alpha (fe)male
beta this is the second highest rank in the pack. their partner can be their mate, or chosen by the alphas. some wolves don't want to be beta, but love the beta currently.
delta this is the third highest rank in the pack. these dogs usually command hunters and fighters. like betas, their mate can choose to become a delta or choose to not.
healer/shaman I'm pretty sure their name tells you all you need. same for their apprentice
hunter these wolves/dogs make sure the food supply is always stable. youngest and eldest wolves eat first whenever there is low prey, and they can help the healer/shaman with hunting herbs. pups start to train as a hunter at seven months old, and the alpha chooses a wolf/dog to train them.
fighters fighters usually are strong bulky wolves, but there are a few that are agile and swift. fighters begin training at eight months, because they need to be big and strong. like hunters, a fighter is specially chosen to train them.
queens queens are pregnant she-wolves/dogs of the pack. (must have a mate)
omega omegas are the lowest ranks of the pack. lower than the pups. these unfortunate wolves are usually punished wolves or dogs, or prisoners who have sworn loyalty to keep on living their life. they can be beaten up if the alpha agrees to it. they don't want to waste herbs on a wolf who was beaten up without permission. they're like the punching bags.
loners/rouges they are wolves or dogs without a pack. runaway house dogs, or exalted wolves from the pack
house dogs house dogs live with humans, are are usually dog breeds. they have a tendency to wander to the pack, fall in love and have pups. they, are wolfdogs.
