Burrwhisker nodded in agreement. The day had been rough and had it's many knocks, and Burrwhisker wanted nothing more than to sleep the rest of the day away. Flicking his tail, Burrwhisker followed Sedgetail's bright gaze and found that it met his mother. Frowning curiously, Burrwhisker pondered the reason that she'd have to talk to Addercloud. Afraid to cause another argument, Burrwhisker fell silent.

Alerted by the tense murmurs of his fellow clanmates, Sagestar strode through the gathering crowd. Disturbed from their travels by the sudden arrival of Morningstar, Tumbleclan fell to a standstill. ''What brings you here?'' the grey leader inquired, although he had a feeling that it was obvious. They'd come for Sedgetail, and Sagestar couldn't blame them. She was their comrade and comrades stuck together, he was simply annoyed that the leader of Caveclan had now known of their fleeing. ''and how did you know we'd be here?'' Sagestar added suspiciously. If there was a rat within his ranks, Sagestar wanted to know.

Upon spotting the trio of Caveclanners, Burrwhisker backed off slightly. He was nervous and wished to take no part in any feunds. The brown tabby hoped that Sagestar would have the sense to stay put and so would the rest of the clan. Fur bristling, Smokefur strode forward, eyes glistening with fury. How dare they just interrupt their already tiring journey? Intent on teaching them a thing or two about trespassing, the grey warrior was about to march up to Hawkfeather only to be stopped by Mudwhisker. ''Don't.'' he mumbled. ''We talk first before we fight, Smokefur.''

Addercloud smiled with her eyes, hidden in the crowding muddle of pelts. She was glad to see Morningstar arrive, ready to whisk Sedgetail back to where she belonged, back home in Caveclan. Spotting her quick-tempered daughter, Addercloud strode up to her and quietly thanked Mudwhisker. ''Smokefur, be calm...please.'' She sighed, shaking her head softly. Smokefur didn't reply.

Morningstar inclined his head towards Sedgetail, his calm gaze flickering over the young warrior as he did so. He didn't look at anyone other than Sagestar or Sedgetail as he spoke again, "We've come for Sedgetail of course. You've been holding her prisoner. A patrol found her scent and the scents of a few other Tumbleclan cats leading into your territory." Morningstar's cool gaze glinted as he added, "We do not wish to fight but if necessary Caveclan will do what it takes to rescue Sedgetail."

Hawkfeather was studying the Tumbleclan cats until his gaze rested on one particularly aggressive she-cat. The brown tabby was known for his calm and level-headed personality but even he got angry sometimes. These cats were keeping Sedgetail prisoner. He had the right to be a bit upset about that. His amber eyes stared at Smokefur until Woolyfur sent him a stern glance.

Tumbleclan had already lost far too much and Sagestar didn't wish to risk anything else. It'd certainally have no use if they fought, Sedgetail was their clan-mate! With a deep sigh and without daring to meet the ever watchful eyes of his clanmates for the fear they disagreed, Sagestar nodded. ''Very well, but on one condition.'' The grey tom flicked his tail thoughtfully. ''You must not tell the other clans of our departure, we want to be long gone before the next gathering.''

Smokefur glared back at Hawkfeather, taking a threatening step forward. Growling lightly, the pale grey warrior ignored her mother's attempts to calm her down and Mudwhisker's stern looks. Just seconds away from pouncing, Smokefur was interrupted by the sudden arrival of Swanfoot. The icy deputy strode in front of Smokefur and shot her look that sent ice rippling down her spine.

The easy acquiescence in which Sagestar agreed to letting Sedgetail go was somewhat startling to the Caveclan cats, who hadn't expected the meeting to go so easily. Morningstar studied Sagestar a moment before answering, "Very well. Morningstar agreed with a calm nod, momentarily glancing at the Tumbleclan deputy as she arrived. "Besides this," He paused, sweeping his tail around as if to indicate the current situation. "Besides this, Caveclan has no quarrel with Tumbleclan."

Hawkfeather tensed ever so slightly as Smokefur prepared to pounce. Woolyfur kept flashing him stern warnings which Hawkfeather kept in mind. If Smokefur attacked first, Hawkfeather could not be blamed for anything. Swanfoot's interruption made the tabby narrow his eyes, studying the deputy warily.

Sedgetail blinked in surprise, staring at Sagestar. He'd let her go so easily? Was this a trick? The grey tabby flicked her tail uncertainly, glancing at her clanmates. Hawkfeather seemed to be having some kind of silent fight with Smokefur, interrupted only by Swanfoot's arrival.

Cats Attending: Squirrelstar, Smokespeck, Ramhorn, Brindlecloud,
Applefur, Raggedtail, Cloudysky, Beepaw + Wrenpaw

Squirrelstar rested her tail on Beepaw and Wrenpaw's shoulders. "Remember to behave." She mewed to the two. "Wrenpaw, you will leave with Obsidianclan tonight." Wrenpaw looked up at his mother, a sad look on his face. "You will see us again.
We will come to visit you all the time. Echoclan has no choice in this, I have to give them my strongest kit to repay them for all they have done for us."

Wrenpaw nods, looking down at his paws for a moment before holding his head high, puffing his chest out as he trots after Beepaw and Applefur. Squirrelstar watched her mate and kits disappear into the crowd before crossing the clearing to the gathering rock, painstakingly hauling herself to the top. The pale ginger she-cat was still recovering from her wounds.

Shinestar pads into the gathering island, looking around. She turns to her clanmates, nods, and sets off towards the Leader's Rock. Cloudswift melds effortlessly into the crowd of cats with Smudgepaw, while Moonfall and Leafrush sort of stand there awkwardly. Leafrush begins to walk towards the medicine cats, and Moonfall stays towards the edges of the crowd.

Swallowclan (Spiderstar, Ravenfeather)

Spiderstar and Ravenfeather walked to the gathering, with the deputy always looking back towards the camp. There, her mate was feverish, without even the herb to cure him. They soon reached the clearing and while Ravenfeather stayed by the side, Spiderstar jumped up to the other leaders. He would ask them for lavender, he needed to. For now he knew, he needed to wait.

Russetstar led the way from the camp, Honeycreek watched from the entrance with Willowflight standing by her side. The four kits played in the clearing behind them, batting at flowers and each other. Kestreltalon stopped behind him, looking back at Willowflight before continuing. Lillypaw walked quickly, her short legs working fast to keep up with her mentor. Heronstream walked ahead of the group, sniffing a few plants here and there. Lastly Rainpaw trotted slowly, her eyes narrowed at the trees around them.
