"What is it?" River asked, voice full of compassion.

Kaylee didn't think, all she knew is that her sister may be in trouble.
The calico sister, ran into the forest.

"Kaylee, wait!" Bluebell raced after her friend.

"My mate.." Stormclaw mumbled under his breath, his voice almost inaudible.

[Wild Mothman]

"what happened" River mewed, her tone still full of compassion.

"I have to find my sister" Kaylee replied, as she raced along.

[horchata]

"She was in a different clan... She... she was killed by a badger when she went to meet me at fourtees..." Stormclaw said, his voice faltering.

[Wild Mothman]

"I didn't know. I'm sorry" River replied, she could understand know why he wanted her away from the wild cat life. Stormclaw liked her, in the same way that many toms liked her sister.
It was the latter that caused River to become such a good fighter.

"Why do you want me to go back home, out of the danger zone so much" River asked, she had to be sure.

"Because, I don't want you to get hurt." Stormclaw brought his head up at looked at River.

River's blue eyes glowed. "I'll go, but you have to promise to visit"
She was sure now. she turned to leave the camp.

Kaylee was close now, she could smell River.
