How MapleClan was formed:
Traveling with a small group of cats, one named Maple the leader of them all had traveled deep from the mountains in order to find a place to live where they would live without fear in their lives. Food was scare in the mountains. Many had died during the journey. But then there they stood before a forest filled with maple trees, a river flowing along the edges, in the north about half a mile away there stood a great oak. The very heart of the territory there stood the perfect place for a camp. That night while Maple was asleep she had a vision, furthest west where the sun rises there was a place for cats to speak to their ancestors. They were Starclan.
Maple woke in surprise, she left the other cats in seach of this place. Once she reached it she knew immediately she had found the place, water rushed down, she saw there was a cave behind the waterfall. She made note that the waterfall itself was responsible for the river's flow. Once she had gone to the cave behind the waterfall, she saw a paw print on the wall. Her paw print. Suddenly she felt the need to push her paw agaisnt it. She saw all of her beloved family, friends, and so many other cats that had died. "Maple," Said a starry cat, "This is your new home, for you and your future kits, friends family, and so many more cats. But first you must become their leader. You will receive nine lives to help you lead your new clan, MapleClan." Suddenly she felt pained as nine cats gave her nine lives, "You will now be known as MapleStar, the first leader of MapleClan."
