Thats not what i was referring to, i was referring to the three main base colors (pigments) Black, Red(chestnut/sorrel) and Bay(brown). The foal's base color is red. The other three contain the base colors of Black and Bay. Yes I am quite aware the horse is clearly a roan brindle of some sort, but i was commenting on how happy i am to see a horse with the base coat color of red (as that is my favorite color on horses).

I wish we'd have gotten one colourful cat though.
