EDIT: In regards to the poll: I think we should continue with the 3-4 cats that are allowed to be entered. While things have picked up, we still have our slow rounds that take a bit to start up, lowering the number will increase the amount of time it takes for rounds to start. I'd also HATE to not be able to have my fam of cats play together!! (Which are usually more than 2 cats)
Maybe on specific rounds (Say all-rank rounds, or double the prize rounds? Rounds we we have multiple winners based on position i.e.
first, second, third. Maybe rounds where someone could win a prize for a fan-favourite cat?? People could vote VIA PM who should get a bonus prize for having a well-loved cat or such. Some rounds could also be made specifically for non-winners or first time players.) that differ from the usual we could only allow 1-2 cats to be entered. I'd assume these rounds would fill up faster as there would be more hype and excitement. I noticed this round filled up SUUPER fast. I believe I'm a few forms too late to join.

Ehh, it didn't really. We had to bump a few times before it filled up. The first ever round I joined w Yarrowstride I think was one of the quickest to fill up

I think we should be able to enter two cats instead of four. It gives more chances for other people to join the round instead of the same people every round.

EDIT: I can agree with most of that. (About the entries and rounds) Having two cats per person, per round seems pretty darn fair so everyone gets a chance... But as I stated in my opinion there have been some complaints about slower rounds, and less cats per person will only prolong the wait time. That's why in my post I suggested certain rounds (Maybe every other, or every 5 or something similar) could be implemented that only allowed you to enter two-cats. Be it an all-rank round, a round where winner gets double prizes, one where runner-ups get prizes... Or rounds specifically open to first-time players or those who have yet to win a round!

To remedy the problem with the same people appearing in each round we could have a cool down period for people. Say you were in the last 3 rounds or so? (one right after the other, without skipping a round) You'll have to wait a full round cycle (1 round, not until the next quarter quell if it's confusing.) before you can submit another form and join in. (Exceptions can be made however, if you recently participated with 3 rounds in a row and the next round is a special round. Normally you would've be able to participate in the next round, but since it's a special one you are exempted. No-one should be excluded from special rounds. It still means afterwards though, the person has to wait out a round before joining again.)

First, I kind of figured that I would be able to make it in. Next round then!

But more people joined since then, so I'm thinking 2-3 cats. However, I don't know how many people regularly participate, so I can't say for sure.

I did read your post and overall I agree with it. About the cool-down after participating with 3 rounds, I'm just worried about if there were a lot of cats playing the same three rounds in a row; the following round may then take too long to participate. Again, I don't know how many people regularly play this, but I do know that a lot of the same people participate in the rounds.

I personally think it should be up to 3 cats for various reasons, but two is fine by me. The only problem with having 4 cats per person is that a lot of the people that have joined rounds before will continue joining (unless they won or missed it) and there is less chance of a newcomer coming by. I was fine with having 3, because forms wouldn't be filled out so quickly thus giving more chance to newcomers. It gives a fair amount of chance, after all, it's a 3 in 24 chance. But it's just my opinion, and I don't have that much support. If people can only submit two cats per round, I'm completely fine with that.
