New poll up for the natural disaster, if you would like a different kind of one please tell me. Though remember we can't do something like a tsunami or a volcano eruption.

As for Assigned Mates. We will also be focusing more on those. Especially with how popular it was in the polls. I'm open to any suggestions if anyone has any.

I was thinking myself the clan could keep having meetings where they all discuss this as it is a big change. There would be those opposed to it and those for the change. They could both have their say.
As for those without assigned mates excluding apprentices we could assigned them all without having a ceremony. Just so everyones taken care of right away before we start to talk about changes and stuff that wouldn't affect them since theyre not assigned.

Your cats/you could also suggest new types of traditions. Some including things about mates like for example (all cats without mates have to participate once a year in a celebration where they all go out in pairs for the day assigned by their former mentors/family members/friends with who they think they'd be good with to attempt to spark something between them)
thats a rough example, but. Something like that could be suggested as the cats try to work through this big change in their lives.

If it does get changed. It's up to the cats if they want to remain mates or not. They don't have to start all over. As I'm sure for example, Briarheart and Desertstar won't stop being mates. Or Briareyes and Swiftleap.
