First off, thanks everyone for the early birthdays~
Second, finally going to try and right out Soulclan's destruction.
So, all of it is going to start by playing off the weakened Jaystar. Nettlefoot and Thistlethorn are going to start toying around with her eternal struggle like the good manipulators they are. Mainly though by finishing off the rest of the JayThrush family. Not by killing them no. Mistleleaf already hates her mother so Nettlefoot and Thistlethorn are going to start breaking the rest of them apart. Since Jaystar has developed a strange but close trust to the Shade Sisters, she'll go to them for advice sometimes and that is when they will fill her mind with doubts and negativity. They'll hint at Cinderblaze's kits having a father on the enemy side, question Thrushclaw's loyalty and love to her, and Cypressdawn.... the little guy is safe for now until I can find a way to use him.
Eventually Jaystar will get so tightly wound that she'll feel as if the whole clan was losing faith, loyalty, and trust in her. After all, if her own blood doesn't have any of that, why would the clan. Hearthflame refusing to talk to her occasionally and his isolation only worsens the blow, making her believe that Hearthflame is Starclan's way of saying she's not a fit leader anymore. Then moons later, Thistlethorn, as a the kind friend she is, suggest going for a walk to clear her mind. But Jaystar doesn't want to be alone and begs the sister to join. Of course that was the plan anyhow. No more spoilers there because I don't want to reveal how Jaystar leaves the world.
Now, the sisters return to camp and relay the tragic news. But before the clan even gets to mourn, Nettlefoot announces that, under the Shade Sisters leadership, Jaystar's death would only make them stronger. Though everyone won't feel Thistle and Nettle are capable to lead, no one else is stepping up to do it. But no one minds really seeing as those two are the nicest cats around.
Until their strict demeanor begins, first sign being that, instead of allowing a sick cat to live, they have them killed whether they be kit, queen, elder, whoever.
Every warrior is forced to go through a trail and, if not passed, they will be demoted back to apprentice stage until otherwise proven worthy of their warrior name again.
I need other ideas for the things they'll do but until then that's all I got at the moment.
Of course you have the little posse they've formed with Bouncepaw and Shiverpaw who they'll promote warriors at this time.
But I do know that Mistleleaf will be one of my two heros, though not the main hero as that role will go to one of Cinderblaze's kits once they meet up with Pigeonkit and that prophecy begins.
