@hazilnut, I wish we could but when I asked the random generator it said Mudpaw had to go... I'm so sorry Mud and Mistle babies.
But Mistlepaw is almost a spitting image of how Jaystar acted when she was an apprentice, living life loathing things and growing agitated with Starclan with every challenge she faced. But Mistleleaf shifted her loathing to Jaystar mainly because Mistlepaw was the one who told Jaystar that fighting in the war was pointless and would not be won but Jaystar told her that is was only something an 'adult would understand and that she should let Jaystar take care of it, hitting Mistlepaw in the ego she loves so much. Not to mention Jaystar told her to simply 'move on' after Mudpaw died... Mistleleaf is just no longer having it.

It's fun how things go full circle but with a little twist~ Your characterization is just ahh on point! I understand where poor Mistle is going, is just makes the sad fate of Jaystar just that much sadder. Jay really just should not have told her daughter to move on, that was not good on her part.

Unrelated question, what are you naming the kits? owo

I definitely agree. He has a good heart but it overtook his mind later in life. He deserves a quiet, happy ending.
