Workshop Three - Writing Prompt

Kalon Name: Val

Prompt:

Val's relationship with Ruth is pretty self explanatory. They're the type of best friends that can talk about anything and everything one minute, and sit in completely, unawkward silence the next. They're very comfortable around eachother and can show up unannounced without the bat of an eyelash from the other. A very common occursnce that happens, mainly when Val feels like taking a visit to Ruth's flower shop. His home away from home, if you will.

Most importantly though, Ruth is the rock that keeps Val grounded. With his very hot temper and sudden mood swings, Val can be a real pain to be around. Ruth is the solution to this, however. Val seems to be most relaxed around her, and more in control of his emotions. Without her Val would probably be a grumpy ball of anger all the time, for the most part. Luckily, he has Ruth that can cool him off when his blood starts to boil.

Describe their pet/companion:
Chamomile's "companions" are simply the various forest animals that tend to show up while she's tending her garden.
How did they meet their pet/companion?:
In a very Disney princess-esque fashion. Chamomile, when she's not out wreaking havoc exploring the forest, is actually pretty calm and quiet. Since she hangs bird-feeders and the like near her house, animals tend to gravitate towards the food, and Cham often has the pleasure of enjoying their company as she gardens. Of course, they scatter as soon as she snaps out of her reverie and reverts back to her loud, excitable self, but she still enjoys having someone watch over her as she gardens.
