She sighed, "If we were hostile we would have attacked, we situated our camp outside your territory because we respected you." She sighed, 'I tried to escape with you because I thought you pets understood." She looked down at Violetta. "I need to keep her safe, that's what I'm here for, if you don't care enough to help an innocent kitten we will leave on our own accord."

'Wait a second.' Glow said. 'One, don't guilt trip us with the kitten please, thanks. Two, I still am in the dark here.'

Orchid

She sat down holding Violetta close to her with forepaw. "We're just like you, but we're considered rogues because we lost you when we were escaping the lab." She barked bitterly.

Violetta

She wriggled out from Orchid's hold, "If you wish for us to leave we will, but you should know that we would gladly help you if you provided shelter for us." She explained. Her words seemed to calm Orchid who let the fur along her spine lay flat.

Crowheart growled as Snare said the words. He turned to the two rogues. "I apologize. I thought this Clan would be more accepted of animals in need." He narrowed his eyes at Snare and Glo. "I was wrong."

She didn't day anything, maybe being in a clan wouldn't be as good as she had hoped, if they kicked her and Violetta out they could go back to their normal lives in their den. She glanced over at Crowheart and gave him a small smile. At least that wolf wanted them to join.

"I can lead you back to your dens if that's what you'd like," Crowheart suggested before an idea popped into his mind. He looked over at Snare, his pelt bristled. "And also, weren't all of us hostile towards one another when we escaped? These two don't know anybody here. They have every right not to trust everyone immediately, and so do you. But that doesn't mean you should turn them away. You don't trust other animals in this Clan, too."

She would never admit it but she was grateful that the other wolf agreed that they should have a place in the clan. They could hunt for their own food and they could help their clanmates. She really didn't see how they were any different from the others.

"These two wolves are willing to hunt and guard the Clan. If you turn them away now and forever, you'll be losing two--no, three--valuable assets to the Clan's survival." Crowheart lashed his tail once. He never made any friends in the Clan, and his only kin was his brother, Bone, who didn't get along as well either.
