While this animal egg is for the younger forming sun deer, it keeps reminding me of the older red giant deer who, in turn, keeps reminding me of the game Top Gear 3000. Why you ask? Because one of the track backgrounds has a red giant with flares reminiscent of the adult pets design. It also makes me start thinking of the music too! Though mostly from Top Gear 2000.

I seriously doubt it, last years trade-ins are mostly rares and the year before that was mostly rares as well. I think at the least they will be uncommon but common is a bit of a stretch.

Welp, almost the end. Definitely the worst year since I've joined for animal eggs. I've never had to trade for any before (sometimes I did trade some, for extras or if I got impatient, but I never ended up where I HAD to) but this year I was forced to trade for *five*...

Didn't reach the final limit, but close (280-ish)

Never saw: squid egg, bwolf egg, red/white/blue multitail egg, fire-deer egg, blue deer egg

Got:
2 brown deer egg (one traded away for a missing one)
2 cat egg
2 candycane deer egg
3 orange deer egg (one traded away for a missing one)

and that was it. Had to use past-year animal eggs to even get the other three I never saw. >_<

I mean, yeah, it's no fun when you end up with like 3-4 of each animal egg when you want tokens, that's too many. But when there only ARE 9 animal eggs to start with... and I only GOT 9 animal eggs total (including doubles) during the entire length of the event... yeah. If I hadn't had extras from last year to trade... urgh. There's gotta be a balance here, and this year was definitely not it. I hope next year the rate improves a little (or we get an animal egg hour again or something).

Don't actually know what I'm gonna do with my extra tokens though, been trying to auction them or trade for wishlist stuff but it seems so is every1 else so not getting many offers, i think I'll wait until tomoz then if I still have loads left I might collect a 2nd token pet set for trading

i have had pretty poor luck myself with the banner. ahh. last year i got so many doubles? I have like 7 of the same animal egg from last year and last year i was actually in school and barely did anything during the whole event. this is just. wow.

i did get most myself but the fact that I'm still missing one up to this point?? That feels SO surreal, it's not like me at all

How do I get eggs?

Every 20 minutes there will be a banner at the bottom of each page. When you click it, it will give you an egg. I highly suggest opening a page like "The Pound" and continually making new tabs for it, and checking. By refreshing you will put more strain on the server. As well there will never be eggs on your "My Posts" page.

just quoting this bc the CS servers seemed to be going through a huge lag spike, and I'm going to suspect people trying to get their last eggs this way to be the reason. Maybe I'm wrong, or its just my internet, but it was only CS that wasn't working for me. I'm also pretty annoyed because I almost lost an oekaki I was working on because of this.
