He chuckled watching the proud apprentice carry her catch into the camp. He shook the water out of his fur smoothing it down before padding in after her. His tail flicking relaxed.

Quietheart felt relieved when he didn't seem upset or anything. She looked around for any free apprentice to show Flamepaw the apprentice den to help him find a nest. The she-cat figured if he started making friends it'll help him settle in more and have cats to enjoy. She saw Sandbranch and Airpaw talking and decided they would make the best cats. The warrior looked down at Flamepaw and said warmly "Follow me." With a flick of her tail, she headed over to Sandbranch and Airpaw.

"We medicine cats tend to have a strong connection with Starclan, so it's important we communicate with our ancestors... I've always thought it was a good idea to start that connection as early as possible, like my mentor did for me," he explained. Now that he thought about it, their trip would only be in two days--that would be enough time to learn about Starclan and such just then, focus on travelling herbs tomorrow (and basic first aid), then perhaps some review jut before they head out the day after. "Communicating with Starclan is such a wonderful experience... who knows, maybe you'll see Rainstar one day."

"I suppose this was a big day for both of us, then, wasn't it? You get to return to warrior duties," the tom finally remembered; he almost felt ashamed, as though he were stealing her spotlight. "You must be so proud of your kits."

Quietheart dipped her head at Sandbranch and Airpaw before meowing "Hello. I hope I am not intruding on anything." She looked kindly down at the little calico apprentice and asked quietly "Do you think you can show Flamepaw where he can sleep? I would greatly appreciate it if you could and maybe introduce him to the other apprentices?" The she-cat looked at Flamepaw and moved her head to tell him to come say hello. Quietheart felt awkward and a little bad for bothering the apprentice and disrupting the two's conversation.

Airpaw nodded to Quietheart "Sure, Come with Me" She told Flamepaw with a nod as she headed tward's the Apprentice's den. She stopped for a moment and looked around, She pointed to Frostpaw and Larksong with her tailtip "That's Frostpaw and his mentor Larksong, There's an empty nest near his so you'll probably be close to him." She pointed out, Airpaw looked around in search for any more of they're denmates "Oh and there's Badgerpaw and Driftmoon" She pointed out as she looked tward's the two cats. "Do you want to go inside the den? I bet you there's more apprentices in there"

Mistfire poked his head out of the warrior's den where he had been sharing a vole with Cherrymoon a few moment's ago "I heard my name, Was I put on the patrol again?" He asked Larksong as he stepped closer to the she-cat and her apprentice

Quietheart watched Flamepaw and Airpaw walk off and looked over at Sandbranch with a apologizing look. She got up and wondered if Thornstar went back to eat the thrush but didn't want to check right now. Last thing she needed was to seem a little stalkerish of the leader or other clanmates since it wasn't true. She just worried too much about her clanmates and wanted to make sure they stayed healthy and okay.

Sparrowclaw awoke with a start, paws kicking as if he were in battle. He sat up blinking blearily and noticed the amount of cats in camp. From the looks of it, he had just slept through a clan meeting. "Foxdung! What time is it?" he exclaimed, scrambling to his paws and darting towards the mouth of the den. A glance at the sky confirmed his suspicion. "I can't believe I slept in so late!" He gazed around, eyes falling on Quietheart who seemed to be idling if just for this moment. "Quietheart!" he greeted as he trotted forward, "You wouldn't mind filling me in on what happened in the meeting would you? I seem to have slept through it." Sparrowclaw ducked his head sheepishly as he settled near the grey she-cat.

Snowpaw - Female - 11 moons - Location: Apprentice Den - Tag: open

Snowpaw laid in her nest gently resting with her eyes closed and tail tucked against her nose. The sound of nearby voices pulled her back into focus and her ear swiveled towards the sound. Eyes still closed, she couldn't see who it was and the air was too muddled with the lingering scents of other apprentices and from the meeting she knew had just ended for her to pick out any particular cat. She supposed it didn't particularly matter who it was as they'd either come in or walk away. She was content in just resting and ignoring the commotion around her until something or someone wanted her attention.

Bearpaw - Male - 6 moons - Location: Apprentice Den - Tag: open

After the meeting Bearpaw had headed straight back to his nest to check if he needed new moss or perhaps some extra feathers or ferns to add to it. However he noticed a small frog sitting on the dirt wall near the entrance. His nest mission was quickly forgotten as he mewled in excitement and batted at the amphibian. It sprung backwards away from his reach and onto the floor to escape, but to no avail as Bearpaw quickly spun around and darted after it. Luckily the apprentice's den wasn't very inhabited and the frog stayed near the walls or else he may have run over someone in his playing. It was barely as big as his paw and was much more agile than the large bullfrogs he had seen on his first tour of the territory only a few sunrises earlier. Or was it longer ago? Time seemed to move so fast once he'd left the nursery.

As they entered his--well, their--den, he started by showing the apprentice where his own nest was. "I usually try to keep my nest away from those of the cats who have to say overnight since they are usually sick with something. You can put your nest somewhere else if you want, though," he mentioned as he sat down in his nest. "But first, I'm curious--what all do you know about Starclan?"

He blinked, then looked up to the sky. "I know they will not be like him--they have something he probably didn't. Starclan is watching over them," he meowed, truly believing his words. However, he knew that of they ended up being false, he would never forgive himself, and neither would she.

It seemed as though things were changing every day for the she-cat, even if they didn't seem to directly relate to her. First the new leader, then the new apprentices. She was happy for the clan that they were getting more apprentices, but that also meant it put more of a strain on the warriors.

He knew he would probably regret this later, but the young tom decided to take a quick nap in his nest--what harm could it do? He was tired from tree-hopping all day; it took more effort than it looked like it did. He padded over to the den and made a beeline for his nest, plopping down in it faster than you could say "Marshclan."

Badgerpaw started purring as Driftmoon reciprocated his actions; that felt nice and very reassuring. He was fairly certain in that moment that if anything ever caused that kind of closeness to stop, he would ruin them.

"Okay, thanks!" she exclaimed with a grin before grabbing a decent-sized water vole from the fresh-kill pile and returning to her den. There, she saw Bearpaw dashing around, chasing... something. She set the vole down before saying, "Hey, Bearpaw! Whatcha chasing?"
