The clan leader beckoned with his tail for Oceankit and Firekit to come forward "First off, We have two kit's who are in need of a new name today. Oceankit and Flamekit." Thornclaw watched the two kits "Firekit, Please step forward." He asked the small cat.

Oceankit trembled with excitement as she watched her brother step toward Thornstar with his head raised high. He looked tiny next to the large tom and tried to puff out his chest.

Thornstar smiled at the large kit, The kits fur sleek after his mother's quick grooming "Flamekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed." Thornstar stopped for a moment to let Flamekit prepare for his new name "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Flamepaw. Your mentor will be Quietheart. I hope that she will pass down all that she has learned on to you." Thornstar looked at Quietheart through the crowd of Marshclan cats.

Quietheart made her way through the crowd to be in front of Flamepaw and gave a small nod at Thornstar. She looked down at the small ginger cat and smiled warmly down at him. She waited for Thornstar to continue with the ceremony with a sparkle in her eyes. It was nice and exciting to have an apprentice again.

P.s. Im going to say that Cloudear was Quietheart's mentor because im not actually sure who mentored her so i just listed a random cat.

Thornstar smiled as the new apprentice and warrior touched noses "Quietheart, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from both your fellow clanmates and Cloudear, and you have shown yourself to be quite Quiet as your name states, but you are also a strong and loyal warrior. You will be the mentor of Flamepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Him." The clan leader nodded over to Brambleleaf and shifted his gaze over to Oceankit after the medicine cat had noticed the leaders gaze "She's all yours." he told the Medic quietly

Well would you look at that, he's practically all grown up, the older warrior thought, his mind wandering back to the times when they were still suckling on their mother. He'd miss them being tiny, but also knew that watching them grow as apprentices would be just as exciting.

It seemed as though things were changing every day for the she-cat, even if they didn't seem to directly relate to her. First the new leader, then the new apprentices. She was happy for the clan that they were getting more apprentices, but that also meant it put more of a strain on the warriors.

Sandbranch was extremely excited when the first kit was made an apprentice--ceremonies always made him happy, and he couldn't help but wish he could go through the same thing over and over again. He didn't even know Flamepaw very well, but he was truly happy for the newly-appointed apprentice.

The apprentice couldn't help but imagine if Flamepaw were his and Drifmoon's kit; he would be so proud, probably ten times more so than he was then. He froze, though, when he caught his mind wandering and focused on the ceremony. This wasn't about his fantasies, it was about the new members of their ranks.

"If you swim around in the water they will get used to you. Once they start swimming around you you can dive after them. Its not as easy as sitting on shore but you're the fastest cat in the clan. I bet you can manage with a little practice." He mewed motioning for her to enter the water

Oceankit had her ears perked forward tail twitching nervously. They couldnt make him an apprentice and not her right? She didnt really want to be a warrior, she didnt like fighting but she wanted to learn and serve her clan as best she could.

Quietheart bent down and bumped her dark grey nose with the small apprentice's. She stepped away to sit down and watched the medicine cat and Oceankit/paw.

The medicine cat purred, a smile displayed proudly on his face. Even though the young kit--no, apprentice--had just experience a near-death experience earlier that day, he seemed to be bouncing back well. It would only be a matter of time until he was groomed into another one of Marshclan's well-trained warriors.
At that moment, Brambleleaf shifted his focus over to their leader, who finally gave him something he had been seeking for a moon or so--permission to select an apprentice. He nodded with a quiet thanks before scaling the branch. He sat tall next to Thornclaw and looked down upon the clan. "There is another wonderful cat here who has reached the age of six moons, and it about to undertake a training process very different from that of her brother's," he chose to start with. The tom then focused his gaze on the kit in question. "Oceankit, please step forward. Today, you take on a responsibility so completely different from the rest of the clan, but equally as important. You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to become an apprentice, though not in the art of hunting and fighting." He paused. "By the blessing given by Starclan and until you receive your full medicine cat name, I name you Oceanpaw, my medicine cat apprentice. I vow to teach you all I have learned from my mentor, if you will allow me to do this honor," he finished before leaping down to come face-to-face with the small she-cat.

"Oh, I suppose I just can't help myself," he purred quietly so as to not disrupt anything. "I suppose I've just always loved kits, and always think of them as my own."

"Yeah, that does sound like a bit of a challenge..." she agreed, but decided to go with it anyways. "I'll give it a shot, though!" The young apprentice slowly waded into the water, being careful not to disturb it too much. She could actually see all of the fish immediately swim away from her, but knew that was just because they were scared of her. She started swimming around gently when she noticed the fish starting to get calmer and go back to their usual routine. It was kind of fun, actually! When she saw a smaller fish come a tail-length to the side of her, she used her lightning paws to reach out and snag it without a hitch. "I did it!"
