Quietheart dipped her head in farewell to Thornstar and made her way off the rock to gather herself for the meeting. She sat in her usually spot in what will be the back and curled her grey tail around her paws. Her green eyes traveled around the camp before ending up at the sky and waited for him to call the gathering. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath and let it out. She opened her eyes and moved her gaze towards her leader wondering if he talked to her because he was calling an apprentice ceremony or not. Had Flamekit and Oceankit reached their sixth moon already?

Once he finished, he returned to his herb stores; his headache was starting to get worse again, but it almost seemed as though the dandelion wasn't working... could it be more? When the medicine cat heard their new leader's call to organize a clan meeting, he padded out of his den. The dandelion didn't seem to be working, but he knew he would manage to push through. He moved to sit near the front of the clan, almost just below the branch Thornclaw stood upon. He certainly made for a powerful figure, standing up there as he was.

A meeting! Even though they mostly consisted of sitting around and listening to him blab on, the energy they gave off was usually tense and exciting. He took a seat closer to the griup, but slightly on the outskirts.

Quietheart listened to Thornstar call the gathering but stuck to the last words that he said. "There are many things we need to dicuss this meeting." 'Perhaps he is ready to choose a deputy as well.' Quietheart thought as she watched as her clanmates start gathering and whispering among each other. She knew one of them would be the next deputy and a pang of sadness filled her heart. It grew as she looked back up at Thornstar on the branch that once held Rainstar, their old leader. Thornstar has been a great leader but she still missed Rainstar and knew the rest of the clan had been too but it seemed no one really spoke about it.
