Shadow woke up when he felt sunlight pour into his den. He opened his eyes and blinked a couple times. He got up and yawned. Shadow shook his pelt to get out any dust and dirt out of his pelt. He walked outside and saw that he was one of the first wolves to wake up. Possibly the first one of all. He looked around camp.

Winter slept in her den. Dreaming about hunting. She found a rabbit and she was chasing it. Through the trees, round a bush, until she cornered it. She smiled and pounced on the rabbit.

Glacier, Who had not seen her alpha awake, Was playing with a feather she had found. She pounced on it and then batted at it with her paws. She then picked it up in her mouth and shook it from side to side. She saw her alpha and dropped it In surprise.

dakota wandered across the clearing, her bloody paws thumping against the grass due to her large rogue body. she was extremely large for her gender, and very muscular. licking her sharp fangs, she padded dangerously close to Lunar Pack territory. it's not like the patrol can take me on alone.. she thought with a dark chuckle. walking at a slow pace, she balanced along the line of the pack territory. she hadn't been near the pack for awhile, and it had been some time since she stirred up trouble. and she was excited for it. chuckling once more, she kept her head forward, her huge body moving at a steady pace through the brush.

Dawn woke up with a start. A bird was calling its shrill song through the air. The wolf stood up and shook cold snow off her grey fur. She decided to start sorting herbs into the right spaces of her den.

primrose shook off her light grey pelt, sneezing softly as she arose. she padded out of her den, raising her muzzle and sniffing the snow-burdened air. it wasn't necessarily a nice day, but then again it wasn't bad. her tail lowered as she padded out into the middle of camp, stretching out and lying down.

kaiser's optics flicked open, soon falling on the white ocean of snow. he stood up, stretching as he padded out into camp. he approached his alpha, dipping his head in respect. "hello alpha. how are you today?" he asked,
his tail wrapped around himself.

Shadow dipped his head back in greeting. "Good morning. I'm doing just fine. How about you?" Shadow responded looking at the other brute. A snowflake landed on his nose and Shadow shook it off.

kaiser grinned at the snowflake, licking his muzzle quickly. "i'm fine. same as always. so anyway, what are you planning for today? as in patrols. i'd be happy to go on one." kai said, looking into the distance. although kai knew it was probably wrong that he did, he had to admit he liked the alpha. he hid it, though, as kai didn't flirt until the other wolf was interested. kaiser looked back at the alpha, blushing softly.

Shadow nodded. "Yes, would you care to help and assemble a hunting party?" Shadow told him. Shadow looked around and noticed that snow wasn't falling very hard, so the weather would be perfect for hunting.

the hunter nodded, respectfully. "yes shadow." he said, calling out for anyone to join his patrol.
he sat down, yawning softly. he noticed the sun had rose, but it was invisible in the smoky clouds of winter that brought tons of snow.
he scratched his ear, looking back at shadow. "it's a nice day for hunting. if you'd like, you could come too. that is,
if you're okay with it. you're probably the best hunter in the pack, so you'd be a good help. not that you aren't already. also, maybe that'd be good because you can have some time to relax. maybe you could test your higher ranks for a while, too." kaiser barked, with a puppy-dog look on his face.

Shadow thought for a bit. He wondered if he had anything he had to do. "Well, I apparently don't have anything to do. I guess I'll come." he replied with a smile. He nodded and went around looking for anyone willing to come.
