Kyler smiled briefly at Sakura, he was nervous. He had no idea of what to expect, he hoped he'd find a mate.

Sapphiera stopped and turned to look at Sakura and Kyler. "Alright, come and meet out prospective mates." She said, stepping aside, to allow them into the clearing where she had the prospective mates come.

Sakura glanced around briefly, but couldn't find the black dog she had previously seen the night of the meeting.

Sapphiera noticed that Sakura was looking for someone in particular, if rumor were true, it was her deputy she was looking for. She leaned over and said, "If you're looking for my deputy, you'll have to wait, he's going to be a little late in coming."

Sakura blushed slightly and looked up at Sapphiera. She nodded and sat down on her haunches while she looked around and tried to see if Kyler had found anyone he liked.

Kyler looked through the dogs who were lined up in the clearing, he frowned slightly, he didn't seem to see any she-dog who piqued his interest. He was sort of upset, he walked over to the end of the line and saw...the most beautiful she-dog. His heart pounded in his chest and he felt like he was about to start drooling.

Sakura noticed that Kyler seemed to have found a female that perked his interest. She smiled and tried to follow his gaze to where the she-dog he was drooling over was at.

He shook his head and...she was gone. Had he imagined her? He probably had. It just sort of figured that he'd become delusional.

Sakura looked at her friend with a puzzled expression and padded over to him, "Are you okay?" she asked and swished her tail curiously around.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He mumbled unhappily. He had so hoped to get a mate, but it was clear that wasn't going to get one tonight. He sighed heavily. "I guess I should go back." He said, frowning.

Sakura nodded and sighed, "I'll go let Sapphiera know that we'll be leaving." and she got up and padded over to the Moonchaser Luna, "We'll be taking our leave now. Thank you for having us and we look forward to visiting you again." she said and bowed her head respectfully.
