Shadowed pack
Number of Wolves: 2+4 pups

Roaming Bear felt guilty about having lost the pups, hardly able to focus on the patrol once he had went out. When he found the carcass, he took caution and didn't bring it back too quickly, sniffing it to search for disease. In the end, he decided to bring it back with him. Careless Rabbit was furious with him and tore his pelt off when he got back, having realized what had happened to the two pups. One of the pups had followed his mother out as she went out of the den, staying at the entrance, watching the alpha male return with the carcass. The pup playfully snapped at his mother's tail, jumping up onto two before he heard her snarl and backed back into the den, frightened by her fury at her mate. After a few days, Careless Rabbit seemed to have forgiven Roaming Bear, at least somewhat, the lost pups being mourned in the howls of the pack for several days.
As the pups grew, their personalities developing along with their bodies and intelect, it came time to move out of the den and travel to their rendezvous site where they would spend the summer and abandon as winter showed itself once more. They both kept close watch of the four pups, trying to make sure they stayed as close as possible as they traveled. At one point the alpha pair stopped with the pups to rest. Careless Rabbit did not trust Roaming Bear to watch the remaining pups once more, staying with them as he went out to hunt once more, trying not to roam too far in search of prey as he would need to return and their travels would very soon continue.
Left with their mother, the pups were as rambunctious as usual, playing around, though one of the males seemed more interested in playing with his mother than his siblings when even the runt of the litter was trying to play with his sisters.

I know that there's only three posts here, but I haven't posted in two days and these are the only packs that I can post for :c

now that the pups were old enough, persephone and hades led their pups to their hunting grounds. the pups followed their parents in suit, crouching low to the ground and trying to act stealthy. of course, they were still young and excitable, so persephone would silently scold them if they started to get out of line. after all, they were hunting for their meal, and they needed to take this serious. out of all the pups, keres was paying the most attention while the other three tried their best.

They had slept under what shelter they could find in case there was rain or other dangers, as they were too exhausted to look for a rendezvous site. That day, they would find it. They woke early in the morning, and set off quickly, with few words spoken between them. Though they enjoyed each other's company, they were yearning for more companionship in this strange land. They were still not entirely sure on how they got there, but they guessed that it was because of the needle stuck into them to put them to sleep.

Soon after they started on their exploration, Shelal broke the silence,

"This will make for a good rendezvous site."

"Yes, it will. Do you think it's time to call it quits on the journey?"

"That's fine by me. I'm kind of hungry."

Shelal hunted, while Brakdlos traveled further to see what else was there.

when mortality came back into camp, the beaver hanging from his jaw, he heard the unmistakable sound of suckling. he pinned his ears back and slowly approached fawnas den, his tail tucked between his legs. he dropped the beaver in front of her den and asked quietly, "may i enter, alpha?" there was no answer for a moment, and then a hoarse "yes, enter." came from inside. he crept forwards slowly into the den, hyper-aware of how dangerous this could be. but when he saw fawna he relaxed a bit, she didn't look upset with him at all. he met her eyes, and she said, "i didn't want you here for it anyways." mortality nodded, it stung a bit, but he could understand her not wanting to show weakness. "i have named my girls. you will name your boys. this is our way now." she said, and he nodded. it would be comet pack's tradition now. she pointed her muzzle towards each of the pups, saying the females names one by one.
"natblida, after my own. tawny, for her pelt. dusk, for that was when she came." mortality nodded, his eyes wide and adoring. "they're perfect." he breathed reverently, and fawna nodded once, like it was a fact. for them, it was. she pointed to the other two, her eyes shining with mischief. "this one made the most noise. this one is tiny." she had a touch of disapproval in her voice, and mortality made an effort not to say anything to her about it. "his name will be howl. and his name will be mouse." mortality said, and fawna chuckled before nodding. "it is so." she agreed, and finally noticed the scent of food. "hm, not my favorite."
she criticized lightly as she stood up and moved towards it, but took a bite anyway. he ducked his head and watched her, eyes bright. after a bit she backed away and nodded, allowing him to eat. he scarfed the food down, all too aware that he would have to go back out and hunt again. when he was finished, he left the bones inside of her den. she must be asleep, he realized, and slowly left to hunt.

Yiho was still crying over her lost pup, laying atop one of the rocks in their summer camp. She and Zirro decided to move a few days after Yosorsa died, the female not wanting to even be in the presence of where her dear daughter died. She had promised them all that they would live to see the beauty of all four season, not just the runt Dizen. She could feel her other pups nuzzling against her. Moving them back slightly with her tail, she looked down at them. "Your father are going to be out hunting, I'll need some quiet. Okay?" They all collectively nodded, but Azek stood up to talk to her. "What should we do?" Azek, the most logical pup out of the remaining five. "Why don't all of you stay in the birthing den? You will not leave it, hear me?" Her tone was hard as stone, not allowing for any defiance from the pups. The five dashed over to the late birthing den, where they would stay for the day. Trotting to Zirro, the female dipped a head to him for a little goodbye, a few tears remaining on her muzzle. However, she was stopped by her mate. "Hey, she's in a better place now, she was sick and dying relieved the pain that living wouldn't save." He told the female, his voice dry of any sympathy as usual. With a lick of her tears, Zirro continued. "Plus, you have five other pups who need you to stay strong and confident, even I want you to stay animated. Get over her." Hearing those words, Yiho could see that... Maybe, her mate actually loved her. Maybe.

Titaia's hunt was another success as she managed to catch a White-Tailed Doe. she was hungry from her hunt and decided to eat her serving before carrying the remainder of it back to camp with her. She takes a rest for a while, waiting for her mate to return.
Alpha Male Angel on the other hand is not having a restful time. As he comes across his and his mates old doe kills and finishes feeding, he spots a female dispersal wolf in the distance. At first glance of this outsider, Angel instantly went on the defensive, this was his territory, what was this outsider doing here? But it was clear by this wolves behavior that they wished to join the pack. Angel took pity on the she-wolf and accepted her company.

It would soon be time to start heading towards the rendezvous site, but Brownie was still exhausted and the pups were still too young, in her opinion. Best to let them grow for another month or so. Already they were growing well, and were starting to explore the den and a small area around it.

"Gray, come back!" barked Brownie, hurrying to her feet. Her small pup looked back and then continued to run. Thankfully, the alpha female caught up to her delinquent pup before too long and grabbed her by the scruff, carrying her back to the den. Blackie was much more behaved, thankfully.

Musk rose to his feet when Brownie set Gray down, a cross expression on both females' faces. "Can you take care of them while I hunt?" he asked.

Brownie nodded. "Don't worry," she said. "They're only two pups. What can go wrong?"

Musk laughed, a hint of a growl in his voice. "Alright," he said. "I'll be back soon." He bounded out of sight and Brownie turned to look at her pups. Blackie was asleep, but Gray was nowhere to be… She was trying to sneak out of the den. Brownie huffed and went to fetch her pup again.
