One Month Ago
The Alpha Female, Rebecca, towered intimidatingly over Tyra, while she stood her ground and quivered out of fear ever so slightly. "You are no longer part of our pack," she growled, "if you've truly been meeting with that lowly omega. Have you've lost your mind? Do you realize how much trouble you could have caused us? I hereby banish you from the Western Pack! I do not want to ever see you again near our territory or the Eastern Pack's." Tyra winced as she began to say a piercing remark after remark. But she straightened up, her chin held high. "But that's not fair! You have no control over the Eastern Pack, I can go there if I wanted to! I can't just leave Dusty!" Rebecca shook her head. "You're right. I don't have control now, but I will soon after that marriage has been arranged." Tyra paused. Her eyes flashed. "Well, you must be mistaken if you think I am the only one who has been sneaking out right under your nose! Juliette and Hawkfire and Lightning did as well! We all did! We all met up to discuss your unfair arrangement!" Tyra piped up, her eyes flickering towards the wolves' names she had just called out. They looked back at her, anger rising in their eyes. A look up hesitation and doubt crept on Rebecca's face. "What in the world are you talking about? Rebecca, you don't expect to believe a traitor who is no longer apart of our clan, do you?" Juliette said. Almost at once, there was not a single trace of hesitation left on Rebecca's face. "You are undeniably right. What was I thinking, considering that option even for a second? Now Tyra, what are you still doing here? I told you to leave. If you do not move, we will have to. By force." Rebecca said. Tyra didnt move, and only stood her ground. She was determined to get the justice she deserved. "Fine. We'll play it like that, then."
Suddenly, the big alpha jumped upon Tyra, jaw wide open revealing her sharp, piercing teeth. It took her by surprise, and Tyra stood, frozen for what felt like a solid minute. In no time, the two faes began to bite and mawl each other. Of course, Rebecca being the alpha female, it was easy for her to overpower Tyra.
And then suddenly, out of no where, a wolf emerged from the bushes, running towards the two wolves brawling. The two broke up to see who the unexpected visitor was. It was a brute wolf, one who Tyra can only recognize as Dusty.
"Tyra! I'm so glad I came here in time, are you okay?" Dusty huffed breathlessly, his eyes wide and alert. Tyra nodded timidly, as she watched everyone in her clan growl and murmur things about the new guest. Rebecca narrowed her eyes. "What are you doing here, Dusty?" she asked. Dusty stiffened at the mention of his name, but quickly shrugged it off. "I came here to protect the one I love! I was on a hunting patrol when I heard growling and fighting...!" Dusty said confidentally. That comment only made Rebecca angrier, as she took an intimidating step forward. "Why you little rat...!" All at once the alpha female lunged at the omega. A look for horror and shock crossed Tyra's face, as she hesitantly took a step towards the fight, not knowing what to do. She was not a great fighter herself, but considering that her love could get seriously injured, she wantes to help in any way she can. However, as she began to get ready to jump on the fae, the omega stopped her. "Don't! Tyra, run now while you have the chance!" The other wolves watched, eyes wide and listening to every single word. However, they didn't have any intentions to stop Tyra and Dusty. They looked guilty, almost. Even Juliette hadn't moved a muscle. Upon hearing what Dusty said, Rebecca stopped and laid eyes on Tyra now. The Eastern Pack wolf turned to her. "Go!" And so she did.
Present Day
The two wolves walked side by side, emerging from a deep, dark forest. "Ah, sunlight at last! Oh look, Dusty, the snow is melting!" Tyra gushed, as she ran ahead, lifting her head to the sky. Dusty flinched, and Tyra had noticed. She cocked her head to the side and walked back to her companion. "Dusty... Are you okay? You've been kind of... out of it. C'mon, you can tell me anything," The fae said gently, nuzzling her mate's cheek. At first, Dusty seemed hesitant, but then gave in. "This might be kind of embarassing... but I just feel weird when you call me that." Tyra blinked. She didn't call him anything other than his actual name. "Call you... what?" The brute looked down shyly for a second. "Dusty... Agh, it just reminds me of being an omega. I know I'm supposed to act tough and become an alpha... but the name 'Dusty' just always puts me off. You see... Dusty wasn't my birth name. They decided to change it to that when I became an omega." He mumbled quietly. Tyra's eyes widened. "Oh, so it wasn't your birthname! I didn't know that. What was it, then?" The brute straightened up, turning towards Tyra with a large grin. "Hunt." An amused glint sparkled in Tyra's eyes. "'Hunt', huh, big guy? I'm not sure I'll be able to get used to this new confident side to you," Tyra said while smirking. "Well, you better, because I'll be staying like this." Hunt grinned ear to ear. "You're staying like this, huh? Well that was what you said last time-" "Ahh... let's not talk about that.." Hunt said quickly, suddenly looking flushed. "Mmm, whatever you say~"
The couple continued walking, trying to find unused territory they could call their own. They then stepped in a large, grassy moor that seemed like it didn't end. Tyra's eyes widened as she ran up ahead, happily frolicking and observing the land. There were a few trees dotted her and there, and with spring being in full bloom, there were many flowers. "Oh, Dust- er, Hunt! Look at how beautiful this place is!" Hunt came behind her. Yes, it was beautiful. But was it fit to be the land of a wolf pack? It seemed decent enough. It had lakes and rivers, but not too much. But the only thing that had troubled him was... it was completely an open space, nothing to cover them from the top. No roofed forests or anything. Just... open. He was more of a night person, but he knew very well Tyra just adored the day, and it seemed like she absorbed the sunlight. Tyra was quiet for a while, then she turned to her mate. "Hunt... I really, really like this place. What do you think?" Hunt smiled at her. "I love it. If you want, we could definitely make this place our spring site, it's really perfect." Tyra was quiet for a second, shuffling her paws uneasily. Oh no... Hunt thought. Does she actually want this to be the actual, normal territory for our pack? Hunt was worried for their safety if they made this their normal pack territory. What if there was a storm? It would completely flood the area. But he knew well Tyra was used to not getting things she so desperately wanted, and letting everyone else decide things for her. I feel bad for her... I'll let her keep this land for our pack, then. "Or, er, if you want this to be our normal territory, then we can totally do that!" Hunt said quickly, smiling. Tyra's eyes lit up. "You read my mind! Yes, I really want it. I love it so much!" Tyra and Hunt looked at each other, and smiled lovingly. "No more hiding, it's time we rise."
