Deputy is next to be leader, a medicine cat has knowledge on herbs and reads signs from starclan,warriors fight and defend the clan, apprentices learn to be warriors, and queens are warriors that step down for a while to raise their kits."Featherfall explained

"Starclan? Whats that?" Slate asked, his whiskers twitching at the strange word.

She nodded, "Mosspelt and I told him the good news a while ago." She nibbled at the squirrel at her paws the delicate bites turning into large chomps. "With an appetite like this it will look like I'm carrying two litters instead of one!"

"Yea right, thats just nonsense." Slate snorted as he began to groom himself, drawing a paw over an ear.
