[Esther~]

Spiderfang remembered that he was going to tell Blazetail, but then she had got caught up in her own mess."There is one thing i'f like to get off my chest."he began, a bit hesitant

"Go for it. I'm all ears." Flightrunner's gaze flicked around the camp at the movement.

[Esther~]

Spiderfang glanced around and kept a low voice so only Flightrunner could here."Well i'm not exactly into she-cats, but toms. A certain tom caught my eye, but I don't know what to do."he hesitated before deciding to tell her who the tom is."I like Duskpool and he knows. I think he hates me now."

[hummxs]

Flightrunner didn't speak. She was surprised that Spiderfang was attracted to the same gender as himself. She'd heard stories about cats like that, but most of the time it didn't end well because same-gender couples couldn't have kits. She almost twitched when she heard that the cat he liked wasn't only a Tom, but a medicine cat. "Duskpool?" she echoed. "I-I see." She paused paused before continuing. "I'm sorry I can't be of much help. You've already confessed to him, yes?"

[Esther~]

Spiderfang felt that he would be judged, just as he had been at the old two-leg den. He was a closeted gay, so he had never told the others but they had taunted him all the time, saying he liked toms. They were right and he got along with a particular tom, but he was gone now. Even then he hadn't liked the tom, but there was something about Duskpool that was different from most cats."Yeah."he could still remember it like it was yesterday, the fear of it all. Now he was worried every time he was around the tom, scared of being yelled at.

[hummxs]

"Has he responded?" Flightrunner asked. She curled her tail around her paws.

[Esther~]

"No, I don't think he will."Spiderfang sighed, looking down at his paws as he spoke.

[hummxs]

"You'll have to be patient, then," Flightrunner responded. "He'll say something about it sooner or later."
