Shadow That Dances at Night
Spark's words made an innocent smile tug on his maw, and he shrugged like a little kid whose candy stash had been discovered by his parents. "Whoops?" he grinned mischievously, tail lashing in preparation for her next attack. "As far as you know, Tempest did it." Shadow was not going to admit fully to anything to protect, not only himself, but also his mate. Talon was waiting for him back in camp as well. By now, he assumed that both Little and Talon were frantic on his whereabouts. Shadow had no worries. Only one of them were going to come back alive, and he was confident it was going to be him. Fights that are lost are a dead man's tale.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
"We are going to see Star. She will be looking after you two," he explained, careful not to accidentally trip over the she-kit known as Honey. Tempest always wanted to have kits of his own one day, but he was unsure as to how Spirit would feel about that. They had not spoken a lot recently. The black tom continued forward, pausing every few steps to test the air for familiar scents. He was still learning to navigate the small island. Suddenly, Tiger felt limp in his jaw. A hint of panic coursed its way through his veins like ice, and when he glanced downwards, his heart did a little jump. He was asleep. Out like a light. If he was not holding Tiger, a smile would have involuntarily made its way onto his features. Tempest was conflicted about leaving the two kits with the Outcast. They were a part of his tribe, but he had to keep reminding himself of whose kits they were. He could not get too attached without consequence. Shadow would be looking for them, and they would be raised and taught to hate the likes of him if they fell back into his clutches. He would not be surprised if one day these small kits, fully grown into adults, would try to kill him for their father's sake. When he believed that he was close by, Tempest gently set Tiger onto the smooth sand, hoping not to disturb his slumber.
"Star? Are you there?" he piped up quietly, keeping an eye on Honey to ensure she did not wander off. There were too many unknown dangers on the isle for him to be taking chances.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower cast Minnow a look of thanks, relieved that she did not have to assist in bringing Flame up the cliff quite yet. She would help when the group switched out, but she needed a few moments to steady her thinking. Her paws were shaking from the previous strain and effort of the boulder. She kept them pressed to the ground, feeling her front forepaws wanting to buckle. The shock of seeing Flame crushed under the boulder was horrifying. Flower did not do well around blood, broken bones, and injuries in general. They made her a bit woozy. She got to her paws and started to pace, clearing her mind for when she would have to carry Flame as well.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
//omg I was laughing at the part with Ice being jealous of Flower. Flower sees herself as the typical screw-up of the family, the popular wanna-be that gossips and purposely does horrible on all her apprentice duties because of lack of self-esteem and wanting attention -- the fact that Ice thinks so highly of her is so sweet <3
Flower nodded her head in agreement, understanding why it could be a useful clue now. Even if Shadow was killed or chased out of camp, she assumed many would protest bringing Tempest back. Unless there was just proof of his innocence, then there would always be negative opinions of him. There would always be the one cat that asked: What if? With her experience from gossip, rumors spread like wildfire. The power of words was so great within a tribe, and it could lead to the downfall of a reputation if one was not careful. These thoughts came to her mind when Ice was giving possible alterations to the story depending on whose fur it belonged to. The only solution left out was if it was Tempest's fur from killing Moon, and she mentally scolded herself for thinking that way. Flower was one of the first to willingly accept that Tempest was Moon's killer, and it was Tide who had convinced her otherwise. She refused to be so negative towards a leader who had never done her wrong.
Flower looked up at Light as if he was crazy. It was not like they could nonchalantly go up to Little and be like,"Hey, can I borrow a sample of your fur? I just need it for personal reasons." She would immediately run to Shadow. Tempest was a whole other story altogether. He was on a different island, about a two hour long walk from the peninsula. Did this mean that they were in for a visit? She did secretly wonder how he was fairing on the island with Raven and Spirit. "How are we going to pull that off?" she mimicked Ice, blinking in confusion.
Light's response was the point of the movie where dramatic music would tune in, and she glanced around anxiously at the idea of being on a secret mission. Their goal? To retrieve hair samples from Tempest and Little. How would they do this? Well, they would figure it out soon enough. It made her uncomfortable that Ice looked to her for answers afterwards. This is why she did so horribly on all her apprentice assessments; she did not want anyone getting high expectations of her because she knew she could not meet them. She decided that it would look better to at least give one suggestion, rather than sit there with a dumb air about her,"If we can't think of anything better, we could probably search her nest if we get her out for long enough. Night would not say anything."

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream got into position beside Wave, waiting for two others to join them. It was going to be a difficult night. Originally, she had assisted in getting Whisper safely to camp. Now, she was bringing Flame up a cliff with the help of three others. If she did manage to get back to her nest tonight, Stream knew she was going to sleep like a kitten. The she-cat prepared herself, nodding her head appreciatively to Minnow for stepping up. Her eyes dared not glance at Flower who seemed to be having some sort of inner conflict. She was not one to pry; that was for the job of her mentor. Stream met Jackal's gaze when he asked her what to do, and the coils turned in her brain as she thought out additional plans. "Can you be our spotter? If you notice the formation start to break, we are going to need a strong cat like you to pull it all back together."
Stream nodded her thanks to Jackal, taking up a stance beside Wave as she attempted to lift up Flame. Her back legs felt limp and unusable, but she hoped this was a problem that could be magically solved by Rain or Fox.
