Workshop One - Writing Prompt

Kalon Name: Aztec

Prompt: (write out their personality in any amount of words)
Aztec is a sweet one. He is gentle and caring to everyone and anyone. Since he is so easy going for most of the time, he sometimes seems like a complete doormat. He deals with anger by staying quiet and he always tries to "draw a circle around himself and deal with everything in it, not outside."

Workshop One - Day Two Exercise

Write about a time when your Kalon(s) lost something important or someone close to them:
(I am just going to refer the other Kalon as "she" since Aztec is the only Kalon I own;;;)
When Aztec was a teenager, one of his best friends left him. She was one of the best advice-givers Aztec has ever known. He has expected to see her everyday at school when one day she wasn't there anymore. Rumor was that she had to leave the country urgently because of some sort of family business, and she won't be coming back. Aztec sank into the state of denial for weeks, convincing himself that she'll be back any day, that she was just sick for a few days. But weeks passed and he was forced to believe that she was gone. His heart felt torn. Aztec was depressed. He grew quiet. And while he was quiet he thought of all sorts of things. After 3 months of his silence, he came to the conclusion that she wouldn't want him to be like this. He started writing down every advice she gave him that he can remember. He took a deep breath, and promised that he would try his best to live by them. Aztec came out of his silent state and was his normal self again. Sometimes he did miss her. But having the list of her advices pinned on the wall of his room gave him hope, every time he looked at it.

Workshop One - Day Three Exercise

Do they keep promises, or break them? Why? Aztec never breaks promises. He tries his best to keep them, and he deosn't make promises he can't keep.

Are they a leader, follower, or loner? Why? Most of the time, Aztec is a loner. He is sometimes a follower, but never a leader. He doesn't like to get involved in large groups, and he'd rather stay close with a handful of others. Aztec believes that being in a group could negatively effect his beliefs, and gives others control over him.

If they could change one thing in their past, what would it be and why? Aztec usually doesn't do something he'd regret, but there is one tiny thing he regrets. But when he was younger, his father wanted him to play the clarinet. His father loved the sound the clarinet makes. But young Aztec did not enjoy learning it. One day he got frustrated while practicing, and yelled at his father about how he hated it and how he thought it was worthless. His father didn't get mad. He just looked at Aztec with eyes filled with disappointment. He told Aztec that he didn't have to do it if he didn't like it. Thinking back now, it wasn't much of a big deal, and he regrets stopping. He believes that he could have made his father happy.

Do they care what others think of them? Why or why not? Aztec really don't care much about what others think of them. He has his own logic, and all he cares is doing the right thing, no matter what others think.

Do they tend to argue with others or do they avoid conflict? He avoids conflict. At least he tries to, and he's usually successful.
Are they more spontaneous, or are they the type that always needs a plan? Aztec likes to keep a plan, and think through it again and again, and again, and.....Just to make sure he doesn't regret anything he does, and anything he does doesn't hurt anyone.

Do they have any quirks, mannerisms, habits, or other defining characteristics? When Aztec gets nervous he does one of four things:
1. Rub his eyes
2. Tug on a pawful of his own mane
3. Pull his own ears down with his paws
4. Do all of them

Write about them interacting with their favorite thing: Aztec owns a stuffed Orca that he named Kileo. His grandmother has got him the stuffed animal on his third birthday, and he has loved it ever since.

Workshop Three - Writing Prompt

Prompt: Carter De Luca(owned by liongoddess and Aztec are good friends. Carter sometimes teaches Aztec how to play the piano, since Carter wishes to be a pianist, and Aztec is generally not sure what he'd like to be. Aztec is usually mildly interested in the mini lessons Carter gives him, but prefers to listen to Carter playing the piano, than playing it himself. He really hopes Carter ends up being exactly what he dreamed of.

Workshop Three - Day One Exercise

Has your kalon ever met their grandparents? If so, what do they think of them? Aztec's grandparents visit him regularly, almost every weekend. Aztec sometimes go visit them, but most of the time his grandparents like to come visit him. Being such a sweetheart he is, Aztec's grandparents adores him a little more than what most adults already do.
What is your kalon's relationship with their parents? Aztec's parents knows that he is a good boy. They trust him to manage everything himself without causing big problems. They have never had a big clash.
Do they have any siblings? Are they blood related or adopted? Aztec doesn't have any siblings for the time being:)
Does your kalon have children? Do they/did they ever want to have kits? Aztec doesn't have children yet, but he does dream of having a happy family of his own.
Which family member is your kalon closest to? Why? His Grandmother. Aztec loves bread, pastry, cakes, and cupcakes so much, and guess what? His grandmother used to be a baker! She might be old but anything she bakes still tastes the best, and sharing food is bound to bring people/Kalons together.
Is there a family member your kalon wishes they could know better? Who is it? Aztec never got a good chance to know his uncle well. He rarely met his uncle and really wishes he'd know him better at one point. From what he's heard, his uncle is a lot like him and works very hard on what ever he has. His dedication toward his job is also what keeps him away from Aztec, even though he craves to know Aztec better too.

Workshop Three - Day Two Exercise

Who is your kalon's enemy/least favorite person? How did they come to feel this way about them?
Aztec doesn' really have an enemy, or hated person. However there was another salon he has met that he dis liked. He was spoiled. His parents were filthy rich, and he was an extreme show off. He seem to view everyone to be below them, and that's just what Aztec hates. He never tried to confront him, but instead Aztec just shut him out. He didn't seem to mind much, but it made Aztec's life easier.

Workshop Three - Day Three Exercise

Besides their best friend, who else is your kalon friends with? Aztec keeps a small group of close friends he can really trust and rely on rather than a un-managable group of some-what friends. While others might think they are close, there are only few that actually are.
What qualities does your kalon look for in a friend? Loyalty and Trustworthiness.
What qualities does your kalon dislike in a friend? Shallowness, and treating others like they are above all others.
Would they risk their life to save a friend? A stranger? Aztec would most definitely risk his life for a friend. For strangers...? He'd say maybe now, but when the time comes he probably will.
Is it easy or hard to earn their trust? Why? Not to hard if you stay honest with him, If you break his trust once, It will take a lot of effort to re gain it. Since Aztec is so willing to let down anything for his friends, He needs his friends to be willing to do the same.
