1 x 1 w/ Ineffable Woes

"That is very considerate of you." He smiled. "What do you want to work on today? Anything specific or are you just going to wing it?" The gym was fairly empty, only a few others were in the room, most of which turned when they entered. He had planned on doing cardio but now he was considering doing some heavy lifting.

She hummed again, pointing to the rowing machine. "I do that for ten.. fifteen minutes and then I do pilates on the mats to the joy of male gym-goers." She grinned and moved over to the empty machines, taking a seat on the row-machine seat. "What about you?"

"I'm thinking a quick warm up on the treadmill and then some weights." He replied. "Can't wait to see your pilates session." He joked. "I will see you after then?" He asked, heading towards the treadmill.

"Sounds like a good plan." Rayne laughed slightly, shaking her head. "The mats are in everyone's view, so I hope everyone enjoys the effort it takes to stretch the way I do."

Luke smiled "I am sure they will" He headed to the treadmill and did his warm up before heading over to a weight machine and working on his arms. He glanced Rayne's way every once in a while.

Rayne put her earphones in her ears and connected them to her phone that was in a little front pocket of her workout leggings, getting her posture right before she firmly held the rowing piece and began to start up a solid rhythm that she would be able to keep going for ten to fifteen minutes. She didn't pay much attention to what Luke was doing for the time being, as it would be far too obvious with having to turn entirely to look behind her.

Luke began to do pull ups on the machine. He reached up, grabbing the bars and began to pull himself up. He did about 30 reps before hopping down and stretching. He had neglected to bring headphones on the trip but the speakers played music that was decent enough. After a quick break he did another 30 reps of pull ups before moving onto something else.

Rayne timed her workouts by how many songs had played. She was at 3 by this point, deciding to continue through 3 more songs before she would move onto her favourite sort of work out, pilates. Music was a beautiful way of timing things, she had learnt. Modern songs varied from 3 minutes and more, so six lots of three would be just over her goal of fifteen minutes which meant she had done a better workout than she usually did.

Luke worked out for a while longer before he stopped. Sometimes he could workout for hours, but he didn't want to ruin Rayne's plans. He headed over to her when it looked like she was finished. He smiled at her. "Are you ready to go?" He asked her, voice kind as usual.

Rayne had finished her pilates with gentle stretching, to make sure she would not cramp up. Though, she was also glad to have not noticed any excessive staring, just occassional glances when they didn't think she could see. Not that she minded, it was nice to feel attractive when in fact she was sweaty and not at her best. She "I'm ready for the hot tub, if you're still up for it."
