"my mother" Eve said with discust "is dead, she was hit by a monster a while ago". Her eyes filled with shadow,hate,lonelyness,and saddness. She had very mixed feelings about her mother. "so now im on my own" she said proundly. "I caught this mouse all by myself, but i dont know how i should eat it. Mistclan????? whats that?" Her mother never told her about clans, so she clueless.

Dawnstar felt as if ice was shot straight through her heart when she saw the kits confused emotions pooling in her eyes. "I'm so sorry about your mother..." she said, shuffling her paws. "MistClan is a Clan where many cats live together, help eachother out, and serve the Clan." She looked at the skinny kit, feeling pity. "You can come back to the clan with me, Pepperpaw, and Snowpelt." Dawnstar flicked her tail towards each cat as she said their name, so Eve knew who was who. "Would you like to do that?"

"Dont be sorry about her Dawnstar, she never liked me anyways." As Eve said this she looked at her ground. She hoped they wouldnt notice some of the scars under her fur. (she was abused by her mother if you didnt know) She quickly changed the subject and replyed "Yes i would. is it dry in the there?" she asked and looked down at her damp fur.

"Yes, it is." She said, standing up. "Can you carry your mouse there, or would you like one of us to do it? It is a long walk back to camp." She said, looking at the small kit and then to the mouse at her paws. 'She has the makings of a great hunter.' Dawnstar thought, waiting for Eve's reply.

[orange juice.]

"No i can carry it" she said standing up trying to look strong and independant. She gentlely picked up the mouse and looked up at Dawnstar with wide eyes as if saying im ready to go.

Snowpelt let her fur fall when she saw the kit. "aw. such a cute kit"she thought to herself. her thoughts right now could clearly be read by her facial expression..

Moonshine padded out of her den. She got a peice of prey from the fresh kill pile.
