Sky ~ Sailor ~ She-cat ~ Tags: Light
Sky smiled meekly. "Okay then, if you say so, Light," She said as she stood up. "You win."
Hopefully this might take my mind off of that for a while, Sky thought hopefully.
"Why don't you lead the way?" Sky said to Light.

(4/20) Light was pleased to hear that, giving Sky another playful bat before beginning the walk, "I know the best hiding spot," he explained, pausing every now and again to make sure Sky was able to keep up, "It's an old burrow - maybe from some sort of rodent - all covered up by brush and other plants. I tripped over it, the other week,"

Ice / Boatswain / Female / Location: outside of the camp / Tags: Open
Ice kept on looking around, trying to find more bird nests. She did find one, but the mother bird was protective. Ice knew that some cats would try to team up with each other, which would make things harder for her, but working alone was alright with her. She wondered if Flower or some other cat could team up with her. Nah, maybe I'm better off alone on this challenge, thought Ice as she kept on watching for a good opening to steal the egg in the mother bird's nest.
"Sherlock Holmes. Surely you've heard of me?"

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower sprinted out of camp as soon as Light was finished with the meeting. She was psyched, and also determined to beat the other competition. She had the perfect spot in mind. The lake was a wonderful spot for birds to nest around. The close supply of water meant that they did not have to leave their nests for long; however, that could prove to be difficult considering she would need enough time to get them out of their nest. The she-cat picked up the pace, hearing rustling in the brush all around her. The forest was alive with tribe members, and yet she had her mind set on winning. Her paws were a blur, standing out against the various green scenery around her. The trees eventually thinned out, revealing the shimmering blue lake in the distance. Flower slowed her pace to prevent from frightening off any prey, ears tuned forward to listen in on potential nesting areas.

Tide That Creeps Up Shore
1/20
Excitement rushed through Tide's bones as the meeting ended. Smiling, he idled around camp for some time before running out of camp, heading up to the highest ground he can. Often when hunting, he's noticed small flocks of Puffins nest on the rocky shoreline, and the easiest way for Tide to figure out his game plan was to see as much of the territory as he could. A large grin plastered on his face, he hikes forward.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Her tabby fur blended in beautifully with the lights and darks of the jungle. It assisted in bringing her close to a tree on the outer rim of the lake where faint peeps could be heard. The sound of young hatchlings calling for the mother broke the silence. If there was a nest here, there had to be more close by. She ducked down and scanned the canopy in search of any piles made of twigs and mud. Her determination paid off. There was one about ten fox lengths away from her in a large tree wrapped in vines. The vines would make climbing easy. She got herself into a decent location to watch, examining the nest from afar. Flower could not tell how many eggs were in there, but at least she knew they were not hatched yet. The mother bird came back to check on them, and once she left, Flower mentally timed how long it would take her to return.

Tide That Creeps Up Shore
2/20
Determined, Tide hauls himself up a ledge. Pausing to gasp for breath, Tide looks around. Luckily, he found what he came for. He spotted a small stretch of rocky shoreline, and there was small feathered figures. Grinning, he starts to run around to the shoreline, probably half-hour walk at the most. Biting his lip, he eventually gets to the rocks. Ducking down as he hears squakixng, he realises there are a couple of puffin nests, around the length of camp apart. Flicking his tail low to the ground, he waits for an opening.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower noticed that the mother bird returned after about two minutes, giving her a small window of time to get in and get out of there. She needed to wait once again for her to leave in order to put her plan into action. Considering she could only carry one egg at a time out of a nest without breaking them, she was going to have to make multiple trips. The she-cat looked around for anything soft to drop the eggs on, wondering if they would survive the fall that way. Alas, with the oncoming summer, even the leaves were beginning to decay. The sound of flapping birds retreating towards the lake was her sign to go. She burst forward out of the underbrush, clearing the distance between herself and the tree in a few seconds. Flower pounced onto the side of the tree, clinging to it with both her forepaws. She shimmied her way up the bark, using the vines along the side to pull herself upward as fast as possible. When she reached the branch, Flower reached her neck forward to gently take one of the eggs into her mouth. It was harder getting back down than it was going up, but fear of getting pecked by an angry momma bird quickened her pace. She found herself standing back in her hiding spot, adrenaline making her heart beat a thousand miles per hour. One egg down.

Tide That Creeps Up Shore
3/20
Tide waits patiently until the puffins left. Breathing shallow, he stalks forward and picks up the egg. Tempted by the other nest, he hesitates, before trying his luck on the other nest. Stalking forward, terror shoots through him, as he hears a squeak. Frantically, Tide scrambles away, the blood in his ears throbbing.

(1/20) Night
I quickly have my kits permission to compete before heading out to find eggs myself. I may not have hunted or done anything like that for awhile, but I still have it in me, and I was surely going to win. After a little while of looking around, I found a nest, quite close to the ground. I quickly noticed that the mother bird was no where in sight and quickly swiped the egg and ran away before the mother could come back and claw her eyes out. Now I had to worry about where to hide them. I had to find somewhere that no cat would ever look... Oh! I finally realized where I could hide them and proceed to sneak into a large bush, laying the egg down, and covering it with the pine that littered the floor. Making sure no one was watching, I snuck back out of the bush and continued my search.
