Soulstar observed this leader closely. "Soulstar of Skullclan..." He looked towards the clearing and then back at the tom. Giving a light chuckle to himself. "From my observation this gathering is quite tense. And by the way you are your'e clearly waiting for someone." His ear flicked a little, "Something tells me it isn't something that is a 100% positive." This tom was clearly focused or troubled. He was curious about this tom and his affairs, and what sort clan they were to Skullclan.

Troutleap walked over towards the deputies. He wasn't nervous he was just unsure what to really say at this moment as some of the tension in the air was....was uncomfortable in Troutleap's opinion and he didn't even know who the tension was directed too or who it was from.

Morningstar with the leaders

Morningstar's amber gaze swiveled around to meet Soulstar's. "Tense? This gathering?" The orange tabby snorted. "I'm guessing you haven't been to very many gatherings have you?" Was he so easy to read? Morningstar gazed down into the mobs of cats, trying to calm himself a little. They'd get Sedgetail back. "Trust me. This gathering only seems a bit tense because of previous gatherings." Morningstar purposely ignored Soulstar's observation of his worry. The Skullclan leader had no business knowing any of Caveclan's troubles at the moment.

Woolyfur with the deputies

Woolyfur padded over to the deputies, greeting them with a small nod. Sitting down with them, he studied them quietly, his mind half on the gathering and more focused on the worry of Sedgetail being a Tumbleclan prisoner.

Shadedleaf with the medicine cats

Of Caveclan's highest ranking members, Shadedleaf was the only one calm and collected. She greeted the medicine cats with her usually cheery mew. "Hello! How's everyone doing?"

Shimmerpelt + Hawkfeather are open

Both Shimmerpelt and Harespring had insisted on coming to the gathering but Morningstar had made Harespring remain at camp. The orange leader had worried that Harespring's worry for Sedgetail would drive him to attack the Tumbleclan cats if the showed up.
Shimmerpelt had been allowed to go but only with a calming influence: Hawkfeather. He'd grown closer to his aunt and cousin since Shimmerpelt's kits had been told of the Tribe.

Chiveclaw + Lilystem tagged with Frostpath, Daisyskip, and Birchwing of Leafclan

"I'm Lilystem and this is Chiveclaw. We're from Caveclan." The white molly introduced herself with a glance at her tabby companion. He was staring at Daisyskip, eyes glued to her face. Lilystem nudged him roughly, breaking his stare. Chiveclaw tore his gaze away from Daisyskip, muttering a wary, "Nice to meet you."

Honeystar came to the Gathering, small clan behind her. "Please be careful," she murmured, "but get to know everyone." The others scattered, and Honeystar made a beeline to where she saw some cats gathered. Judging by their names, it was clear that they were the leaders of their clans. "Hello," she said, nodding to everyone. "I'm Honeystar of Forestclan. I'm pleased to finally meet all of you."

Briarstar had strutted to the top of the leaders rock, carefully re-checking his fur for twigs or mud. Their swampy territory was an awful mess according to Mothflower, but that was all Briarstar knew. Managing to pull out a few to make himself presentable, he padded over to a leader who had recently introduced themselves. "Honeystar of Forestclan, eh? Well, howdy! I'm Briarstar of Thicketclan." He flashed them a smile, whiskers twitching excitedly. He treated every gathering happily, despite the tensions that could be felt all around.

Honeystar smiled at Briarstar. His excitement was infecting her too, and her tail twitched with impatience. "Hello," she said warmly. "Thicketclan? Your territory sounds very safe, although I'd imagine there are a lot of burrs to comb your fur. I'm afraid that my clan's territory isn't nearly as grand. All we've got is a giant river that nearly drowned Duckpelt." She shook her head, remembering Acornstream's sheepish report. "Is this your first Gathering? It's mine."

Emberstar smiled at the look of awe on her kits' faces as they neared the clearing. The crowd of cats was now in sight and Pinepaw and Heatherpaw were incredibly excited, Pinepaw finally letting go of his mature, responsible self as he and his sister waited for their mother's permission to run off into the Gathering and have fun. The group at last reached the clearing, and Emberstar nodded to her kits with a smile, the two squealing happily before darting off into the throng. She felt a slight pang of worry, but quickly shrugged it off. They needed to have some fun by themselves, so she wasn't going to assign a warrior to look after them, she just hoped they wouldn't get lost in the crowd. She leapt up to the Great Rock, dipping her head in greeting to the other leaders.

Briardusk frowned a bit when she couldn't find Bumbletuft anywhere. Maybe they were busy with something and couldn't come.... But she wouldn't let it get her down, she would still have fun. As usual, she approached a random cat she hadn't met before, who happened to be a pretty calico. "Hello there!"

Birchwing found himself giving the tom a hard stare - almost a glare. Frostpath noticed this quickly, giving him a sharp nudge before saying to the others, "Well, we, uh, gotta go. You'll be fine, Daisy." She began to trot away with the silver tabby tom. "U-um..." the pale ginger tabby stuttered. She was incredibly embarrassed by her brother's behavior, but tried to keep the conversation going. "H-how has CaveClan been? You were in the battle, right?"

Frostpath anxiously padded away with Birchwing. "What was that for?" he hissed. "Oh, you should be thanking me," the she-cat meowed. "You would have gotten yourself in loads of trouble." Birchwing turned his ears back. "Nothing would have happened. I just don't want Daisy to get hurt." "She'll be fine." The silver warrior simply stomped away from her. Daisyskip was fragile right now. They couldn't leave her. But as he glanced back towards where his sister was with the CaveClan cats, he noticed a hint of a smile appearing on her face. So this was making her feel better.... With a sigh of frustration, the warrior padded around the crowd. Maybe he could find someone to talk with too.

The white she-cat sighed as she gazed after Birchwing. Well, if he was going to be upset, there was nothing she could do about it. She began to wander around the clearing, looking at the cats gathered. This was a small Gathering, if anything.

"Do you think we'll meet someone?" Heatherpaw asked her brother excitedly. "Pfft, of course we will. With all this running around we're doing, we're bound to - oomph!" He collided with another cat. Heatherpaw gasped, "Pinepaw!" The spotted tabby hurried to his paws, keeping his gaze on the ground, stuttering, "S-sorry.... I w-wasn't looking where I-I was g-going..."

Brindlecloud separated from her clanmates, taking off across the clearing and barreling into Appleheart.

Acornstream and Duckpelt walked together. The white molly was first spotted by Duckpelt.

"She seems lonely," said Duckpelt, giving Acornstream a nudge. "Let's go talk to her!"

Acornstream followed Duckpelt's gaze. "Sure," he sighed. "Why not?"

The pair padded up to the cat--Birchwing--and stopped. Duckpelt took the initiative. "Hi," she said. "I'm Duckpelt and this is Acornstream." She motioned to him with her tail. "We're from Forestclan. Who're you and where are you from?"

Appleheart only saw a flash of dilute calico before Brindlecloud ran into him. The wind was knocked out of him and he fell to the ground, but he was smiling. "Hi Brindlecloud!"

The silver tabby tom looked up to see two cats standing in front of him, both wearing friendly smiles. "Hello," he meowed slowly and a bit uncertainly. "I'm Birchwing, and I'm from LeafClan. It's good to meet you."

"It's good to meet you too," replied Acornstream. He wondered what he should talk about. Hmmm... "What's Leafclan like?" he asked. "I haven't met anyone from a different clan." He could see Duckpelt's ears flicking forward to listen better.

"How big is Leafclan, too?" Duckpelt asked.
