My adult mint is still upside down when viewed : )


EDIT: bred it with another mint producing a mint egg but the egg's sprite isn't upside down

Maybe because you bred it with a regular, non upside down mint? it's possible that it's an April Fool's Day only thing though.

I'll attempt it one more with a special breed forcing either a mint from it or nothing for my attempt. (Have 3 black eggs currently XD)

I'll attempt it when both of my upside down mints grow up xD i'm nervous to breed them with one another cause i don't want them to refuse or not produce so we'll see cx

Eggs and hatchlings get sick if they receive too many views in a short amount of time. You can hide them by going to the sick egg or hatchlings actions, and then clicking hide. This prevents the egg or hatchling from receiving views. If they continue to receive views when they are sick, eventually they will die. Once the egg or hatchling is no longer sick, you can go back to its actions and click unhide, which will let the egg or hatchling receive views again.

I've accidentally killed some eggs myself by putting new, young eggs in my sig, posting on a busy thread, and leaving. It's important to be sure not to post in too many places at once, especially when the eggs are young/new, and to check back periodically to make sure they haven't gotten sick. Huskyy already explained what hiding/un hiding can do- that's a big part of it, hiding gives your eggs a chance to recover. I hope no more of your eggs die <3
