nordic runes - they are only found on foundation horses, and can be any muted color of the rainbow, but when passed down they become a darker or lighter shade of the base coat and can pass no further.
[link] this is the list of runes allowed to be used and they also have no rarity
bloody shoulder/spots - are a dark chesnut to reddish shade that looks like someone just took a handful of blood and smudged it on the draft and is typically only located on the foreleg and neck, but can take on interesting shapes like hands, paw prints and other such weird deigns
icicles - look exactly like icicles hanging down from the back of the draft, typically only on the back and lower neck, it can sometimes spread to the face, but that can be of any varring hieghts or widths
hoarfrost - looks like acutal snow similar to frost appy, can be along anywhere from the top of the head to the the neck and to the top of the back + always has white frosted mane/tail tips and white hooves
fragmented - looks similar to cracked ice and can be minimal or carry out through the entire design, but is sharp angular lines breaking up like ice and is typically any shade of blue

Once on the verge of extinction, the jäykkä were brought from their native frigid nordic home to that of warmer climates in efforts to help save a dying breed. They were best known for being the companion of old nordic vikings and were once thought to be a gift bestowed to the vikings from their gods. They are rigid and strong, ever lasting through all types of terrains and adapting to the needs of the people they lived along side of. In the beginning they were mostly only used as barn companions or farm help, but in better efforts to save the species and promote diversity they hand selected a few lipizzaner stallions and mares to add some better genetic diversity as well as hoped it would help the jäykkä feel more at home in their new environment. Today they are an all around versatile breed of horse, being able to pull cart and any heavy lifting due to their heritage but with the grace and agility introduced to them from the lipizzaners.
