Looks like the requirements for summoning squid eggs now include a small sum of money, to bribe Simon into standing still long enough for the summoning to work.
Maybe a picture or autograph works, too. I imagine it lowers the chance of success, but it may be worth a try.

I seem to have less pink eggs than any others myself, but I'm not gonna complain about the amount of blue I get. I /am/ tempted to hoard them. Just a few, maybe if I find a nice pet to put them on^^

i got 1 pink egg out of 22 i collected. 12 of those are yellow.

Should i save all my eggs till the last day or spend them throughout the event?

what i do is get one of each as they're released, and spend my extras on the pets i like when the events is over

Doesn't seem to be. Entering the link that should give you the counter only gives you the number of eggs you collected last year, it seems. I'm sure it'll be put up soon, though!

The bunnies and bunny costume are adorable! I got six of the second gen bunnies and I'm trying to get enough eggs so that I can get the others and the bunny costume. I'm super excited! ^^
