Shadow That Dances at Night
"Do you plan on killing me then? Was this your elaborate plan?" he cried out with a laugh erupting from his maw, using his tail in a sweeping motion to gesture around him. "Isolate him. Fight on unsteady, slippery, possibly dangerous terrain. Oh, I can see it now. The cogs were surely turning in your head." Shadow was now hysterical with laughter, green eyes strangely lighthearted as if she was joking with him. "Do you not realize who I am?" He was known for his lack of mercy in battle. Shadow did not live by any code or standards. He went for the eyes, the throat, and any area that surely meant death or permanent disability. "Do you plan to die here today? One of us should plan on not returning to camp, am I correct? I am giving you an opportunity to drop these silly notions. I don't usually show mercy, but you have managed to humor me."

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest cast a friendly glance down at Song as she willingly approached him. He was a bit indifferent about the kits; he was unsure if Shadow and Little were truly their parents. Song definitely had the appearance of her mother, but he did not want to make assumptions until he heard the full story. Even if Shadow and Little were their blood relatives, Tempest would never have the heart to treat them any differently. It was the parents that set the mold for children, and it was up to the children to decide whether they wanted to fill that mold or not. It was the rest of the tribe he was worried about. The kits would be a constant reminder of Shadow's presence in the tribe if he was ever exiled. Little would probably come to him as the last of her resorts, so he was definitely waiting expectantly for her response.
When Darkness approached, he was unsure how to react. In one corner of his mind, he felt relieved to have the extra safety precautions; however, the circumstances did not spell out "danger". Little would not bring two innocent kits to him without a reason, and he did not think she was foolish enough to attack him in their presence either. He shot Darkness a look of gratitude for his accompaniment, but stated,"Let's try to keep calm. I do not want the little ones to become afraid." It was too young an age for them to know of fear and hatred, if Shadow had not taught them those feelings already.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower did not notice that Stream, Wave, and Jackal had found their patrol as of yet. Her ears were ringing from the effort of pulling Flame out from under the boulder. Her limbs were on fire, and her breath was coming out in spurts. It would take her a moment to get her breathing under control, huffing from the strain she had put on herself. Flower was positive that everyone was feeling similar.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower heeded Fire's request, attempting to grab Flame by the scruff to fully get her out of the way of the fallen boulder. The angry comments from Crow were quickly forgotten, and Flower thought little of it. If Crow had done what she did, she would have been upset and confused as well at first. Her determination paid off in the end. She plopped herself down on the sand, staring at the group in front of her with a heaving chest. Flame was safely out of the way of the boulder -- thank Arcadia. "We did it." she sighed outwardly. Flower's enthusiasm went from an all-time-high to a gloomy depression of sadness. It was the same statements she had heard since she was born: You are too young. It is too dangerous. Leave it to the adults. Flower was about to cast an apologetic look to Ice, ready to say "welp, we tried" and walk off . . . but Ice appeared to have other plans in mind.
Flower's maw metaphorically dropped to the ground when Ice went off on Light. Her eyes traveled back and forth between the two as she ranted. Her eyes were as wide as two moons, resembling a deer caught in the headlights. She had never seen anyone have the guts to stand up to a higher rank. Doing something along those lines almost always ended up with someone cleaning out the elder's den. Based on how far Ice was taking it, Flower would not be surprised if she had to clean the whole ship from top to bottom. The comment about Little and her former boatswain position made her legs feel numb. The roast was real. When Ice turned to speak with her again, she was still stupefied,"U-uh s-sure!"
She had spoke too soon. It was Light's turn to return the favor. She expected the wrath of a thousand suns, but it was a calm reply. Almost too calm, like the way water sits still before a boil.
Flower would swivel her head around with each new argument. Back and forth, back and forth.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream had been fervently searching a few meters behind Wave, maw open in search for the slightest scent they could have overlooked, when Wave alerted her and Jackal. Her head shot upwards, deep sea blue eyes widening in horror as her worst fears were becoming a reality. She stumbled forward, almost slipping on the wet surface of rock in her carelessness. Stream regained her balance, striding onward with a cautious tone in her step now. "I see them too!" she called out as she got closer, seeing familiar forms down below on the thin strip of beach. It appeared the edge of the cliff had collapsed on . . . the thought got stuck in her throat. Feather was going to have a meltdown when he caught word of this. "Flame is hurt." Stream gasped, trailing behind Wave as she tried to maneuver her way down the steep side of the cliff. "We're up here!" she called down below, hoping they would notice that help had come.
