@seed @kat

Aww your couples are actually super cute! Like really! <3

I can't wait to get my pack started personally! I'm thinking of naming my alphas Noether and and Einstein (Because yes, all the wolves are going to have names of famous inventors/politicians/whatevers. They're history nerds in another life and there ain't nothing limiting the names far as I can see!)

This is gonna be real fun! OwO

    @wolf talk

    Heheh... you'll see my post up tomorrow.
    Going AAAALL out like with Mossclan for these guys!

    My pack's name is: The Chowilawu Pack (Meaning "Joined Together by Water")

    @seed
    May I hire you as the artist for all my wolves profile pics too? Idk, it may be a bit much.
    I can pay though!! Whenever I got a request just find a pet (or pets) you like and I can give 'em to you!

    Also can I steal -- use your idea on the name traditions?
    Similar concept but a bit different -
    Females have A/E I/Y's in their name.
    Other common letters are: B, L, P, M, S, C
    Males have O/U & Y's in theirs.
    Other common letters are: D, R, N, K, T, K

    Pups (any gender) have names that start with the same letter as their parents.
    Alternative they can have a name with a different letter if the names are similar.
    Like say... Arnbjorn had a son, instead of naming him with an A, he named him with a similar ending. (bjorn) So: Kolbjorn

    Alpha's names can end in anything. (It'd be awkward to change a future alpha's name to fit in)

@rebel go ahead :0 i actually got my idea from a reaallly amazing book series, called Promise of the Wolves by Dorothy Hearst!

in the books, all females had a double a in their name, and all males had a double u.

ex. Uunan, Kaala

but the guardian wolves [i cant remember the name, but they're like the giant wolves that rule the valley] end in -dru for males and -dra for females!

so i thought it wuold be fun for me to use similar patterns in mine c':

    @seed
    Ooo~ Sounds cool!!
    Never heard of the series.

    I'm gonna say it's extremely taboo upon the pack to name a child with a name that does not correspond to the parents at all.
    (So no same first letter, or similar wording.) Naming after Grandparents is allowed, but after parents are preferred.
    Outside wolves coming into the pack do not follow this rule. (They were born outside, and they'd never change someone's name. SO their name can have no relation to parents)

    Thinking of having this like ritual (Seeing as the tribe practically worships water) where the mothers of a litter of pups will go with them to their giant lake at night. Only the mother may attend. (Father must be absent)
    They must have 1 witness to see the ceremony. (So they cannot go back and lie to protect their pup should they be cursed) Usually this witness is another female, like a sister, or their mother's. In uncommon circumstances a female cousin or aunt can be present. All males are prohibited form watching the ceremony. Omega's are an exception. Should the female have no present female relative an Omega can stand by.

    They'll submerge the pup in the lake for a good while and then thrust them into the moonlight to present. If the pup glows a shimmery blue (less common) as the name is declared out they are blessed. If they are dark or grey (uncommon) they are cursed. If Silver (most common) the pup shows tendency's to neither side. They should still be closely monitored in case they start turning to the dark side.

    It's also a sign that the pups are cursed if the moon is missing (be it hiding behind a cloud or it's a moonless night) when they are to be presented. This is rare, but lesser so than if the pup is Golden or Red.

    Pups are probably especially blessed if they glow golden at the presentation. And especially cursed (Too be dispersed immediately after the ceremony) if they glow red. This is VERY rare.

    This'll probably happen around the pups 2nd or 3rd month. (As 4-5 is when they hunt) And their name shall be granted then. Until then parents come up with cute names for the pups like: Bear, Lily, Quail, Bark, Runt, Tiny, Fluffy ect.

Guys I had an idea a couple hours ago and I've just finished changing the pack of Eastern Willows to the Pack of the Soaring Falcon. I'm actually alot happier with this pack than my first pack. The territory is much more thought out. I put pictures to describe the territory too. What do you guys think?

I want a ritual for my pack! It's basically pretty similar to Echoclan, so I want it to have to do with the mountains as well

@tauriel

I think it sounds great!!

@tauriel. Sounds great! The name sounds really cool.

My wolf pack is either going to name the pups after their pelt color, a mixture of the parents' names, or a significant event that happened around the time of birth. For example, a gray pup might be called Gray, Brusk (Brownie x Musk), or Flood (a flood occured around the time the pup was born).

Pups are named within the first month of birth and are given a unique name. That is, no one else in the pack will have the same name as long as the pup is still alive. Naming after the deceased/dispersed isn't uncommon. The pup is presented to the pack whenever the mother decides to name them.

I'm thinking of having, for my pack, everyone has an even amount of letters in their name, and at least 4 letters. If a newcomer has a name with an odd number of letters, they just double up a vowel. (For example, Chicken could become Chiicken.) Pups take the last half of their mother's name as the first half of their name and the last half is original.

@pack traditions

All my wolves are going to be names after famous figures (or lesser famous figures anyways). They worship the cedars and dwell high on ceremony- I'm pretty happy with them! There's gonna be a lot more cedar-oriented traditions to come but I'm too lazy to think of them right now.

On the other paw, I feel like my writing for them is very stiff? It's kinda supposed to be though, they're very stiff individuals. Keats and Noether do not love each other in the slightest and I hope that came across well at least! XD

I've got clearance to make the Create A Pack fanclub so I'll do that in a bit!
