Felines with a tough ridge on their back. The ridges on the backs of daevox are made
of keratin- like hair, claws, hooves, and horns.

In myth,
the ridges developed from a blessed rainstorm, which landed upon the creatures' backs. In rural areas, it is
a common tradition to leave out food in order to attract daevox to grazing pastures, as they are considered
to be good luck and to ward off droughts. Some daevox around these areas are more docile toward humans,
as a result. As legend goes, if one is trapped, its "magic" will vanish.

It is more likely that these ridges are a result of natural selection. The color can, in some cases, distract
flying predators as they swoop down to pick off a cub, and the shape prevents most ground predators from
getting a viable grip on the daevox's back or neck. Some can get around this, by yanking the ridge from
the side to unbalance the creature.

1. Do not use any concepts for this species, or designs made by artists on this species' lines, as your own.

2. At this time, Daevox may not be traded or sold.

3. If you don't want one of your Daevox, contact a mod about gifting them or putting them up for readoption.

4. Normal users have 8 normal slots, and 2 custom slots. Staff have 9 normal slots, and 3 custom slots, one
being a staff custom.

5. Owners may not edit their Daevox's lines, without use of an item, other than to change the expression or
to add accessories. Any edits from items must be approved by an admin.

Note- eyelashes do not count as an expression edit.

6. Normal users may not create Daevox for adoption.

7. Respect everyone in the community.

8. If there is any sort of dispute within or surrounding this species, please contact a mod or admin about it,
rather than causing unnecessary drama.

9. Don't spam this thread.

10. I have the ability to administer warnings, strikes, and bans within this species, and/or to revoke a user's
Daevox if any of these rules are broken.




1. Artists may only create a '00 Daevox with my permission.

1.5. The above rule also applies to Daevox with elusive edits.

2. Please try to keep edits at a reasonable amount for their listed rarity.

3. Daevox may be created on custom lines at any point.

4. Artists may create a staff custom at any point in time after they have made at least 3 adoptable designs.
