I've decided out of the 4 outcomes, I'm going to hoard this one.


So I've got a lot of the others left over.

- Not extremely old (2013-2017)

This is the litter I had in mind when I saw the cat hats! I hunted them down as I didn't know what year they were win, and luckily there's 5 outcomes! I do hope you use these :3



They're based off of cats and from Feb 2013, AND they fit all the criteria you listed above ^_^

New hoard. I'm so excited to collect this litter of chickens, with boots!

I had no clue they existed at first, until I saw one in the pound and totally freaked out because I loved it's design. Then, I searched them in the archives and adored the whole litter and decided to hoard em! Why am I so slow with things, lol.

Just found this thread and wanted to jump in! I've found a new love for the adorable 2011 spaniels!!!!! I just started hoarding yesterday so I only have four, but I'm totally ready to start my collection of the cuties! Thanks! Feel free to trade me if you happen to have any of these puppies!!

I don't think you have to completely get rid of all of your collection to focus on hoards

I like to have a complete collection from my join date (excluding URs) and still focus on hoards as well. I don't understand the 'one or the other mentality' to be honest.
Maybe its just me and an absolute complete collection never appealed to me. I honestly don't care for most of the 08 pets and their demand is crazy insane. I am not going to go out of my way to try to get them just to have them.

But then again I guess if you want huge hoards it would make it easier to get there ... I've never had a desire to create a huge hoard either. To each their own I guess

Personally, I'm one of those people who need to make a somewhat clean cut or I'll start doubting myself/falling back into old "bad" habits later on. Plus, having both and having the need to complete both is putting an amount of stress on me that's unhealthy (and I know there's noone else but me to blame that I let myself get stressed over a game, but I'm an obsessive completionist so I can't really do anything against it).

I will only keep a few selected species/lineart collections and look for some favourite pets of mine. Apart from that it'll only be hoards. ♥ My WL has never been this small before. xD

Technically I'm supposed to hoard two/four as they're skeletal and fall into my Kienbock's hoard.

I've debated over whether I should just hoard designs I really like, or to keep going with my collection, but a few things stop me each time I think about it.
One is that, whilst I may not love every single design, I don't have any hatred or disgust or even just a dislike for a design, it's purely just a scale from 'oh I like this a little' to 'I NEED 5 MILLION'. Having to get pets I don't like just for the sake of completion hasn't been a problem for me, so I don't have issues trading for any pet.
Two, it's been my goal since the very beginning of CS, and I want to stick true to that. Other goals on CS have come and go, but that one has stuck, and I intend to keep it that way.

I keep myself sane over it by knowing and not worrying about how slowly I will get a complete collection. If I stressed over not achieving a specific goal by a certain time frame, I'd lose interest and give up. I know I won't be getting lists any time soon; I need fodder and probably some offsite trading to get anywhere close to that, but ehh, that's a lot of time and effort right now, I can spend time on that in the summer. Instead I focus on getting missed outcomes, or designs I really like, or pets I need one or two of to get an entire set of them.

Right now, I'm not even actively doing that; I'm just focusing on my 10+ hoards that I'm nowhere near completing right now. Because they're a smaller goal, I'm determined to get them since it's only 10-20 pets as opposed to the thousands for a full collection. I keep setting myself more future hoards too, so when I'm done with the ones ongoing right now, I have more to start with C:
