Workshop One - Day Two Exercise

Write about a time when your Kalon(s) lost something important or someone close to them:
He lost it, how could he have lost it!? Val was hurriedly throwing open every drawer imaginable in his house, he checked the bathroom, he checked his bedroom, he even checked outside, but he couldn't find it! It seemed stupid really, that he was worrying about something so unimportant. What was it that he was currently obsessing over finding? His flower hair accessory. Val knew that it'd probably turn up eventually, but that morning when he woke up to find it elsewhere than its usual place on his dresser had caused him to go into a panic. The routine of putting it on every morning had just become so regular that not doing so felt so out of the ordinary.

Val was just about to give up and start working for the day. He sat slumped down on his sofa, and looked over at the latest flower arrangement he's made from the flowers in his personal garden. The roses had just finished blooming and the added anemones and calla lilies really helped the deep red of the roses pop. As Val continued to stare a blob of orange stood out to him. He nearly burst out into laughter as he realized what it was. It was his flower! His flower accessory that is. Val got up to take it out from in between the real flowers. He must have been so tired last night that he had accidently put his accessory in while he was arranging the flowers.

Workshop One - Day Two Exercise

Kalon Name: West

Write about a time when your Kalon(s) lost something important or someone close to them: West dropped the wheelbarrow he was carrying and emptied his pockets, sorting through the pile to find what he had supposedly lost. He tipped his hat to shade the sunlight from the grassy floor and picked through everything, depressed to not find his beloved bee pin. His bee pin meant a lot to him, he got it from a dear friend who had passed away because of cancer, his eyes closed in dismay and loss. West searched his house and around the farmyard for it, and never could find it. He looked up towards the sky and squinted as the sun stared straight at him. He went back inside and sat on the couch, feeling lazy and reluctant to do anything.
West never did find out that his bee pin was lying on the top shelf of his closet, underneath a heavy basket that had a bunch of his clothes stacked inside.
