Goddric gave her a light nuzzle. "Well then, I guess I'd have to defend you til I die then,"he answered. He couldn't believe it. He hated everyone, or so he thought. He never thought he'd fall for anyone. "I'll be honest with you, I had never considered finding a mate before. I thought I didn't need one, until you cam along,"he said, his voice gentle, which was very rare for him.

Goddric continued to look into the woods. "I don't pay much attention to them. It's none of my concern,"he said calmly, closing his eyes and imagining life with Destiny. He knew that their relationship was forbidden, and that he was only to have a mate within his own clan, but the females in his clan did not interest him in the slightest. 'I don't care for those stupid old laws. All that matters is Destiny.' he thought to himself and smiled.
