Workshop One - Day Two Exercise
Kalon Name: Fortune
Link to Kalon: xxx
Write about a time when your Kalon(s) lost something important or someone close to them:
Everything seemed to move in slow motion, the transparent sphere was glowing a plethora of colours,
yellow, orange... and then black. The other kalons paw cut through the serene glow, the bright colours
merging with the shadow around them, the black was only pierced by the glow of some... faint orange
candles. The glass exploded everywhere, the brown hued kalon let out a shriek, stumbling backwards
on unsteady legs that were fit to crumble beneath his figure. It was as if his life was flashing before his eyes.
The room spun, the candles blurred, his magic... no his magic! Forcing himself to stay steady. his head facing
the floor, his head snapped up to square up to the blue pelted kalon, thrusting himself against the table, the
only wall stopping him from tearing this other apart. His eyes had grown tainted, he could feel a.. burning
sensation in one, as it dulled from a bright orange, to a dull brown - just like his pelt. He coughed and
stumbled, clearly weak,, although he refused to admit it. Anger surged through him and powered him to
chase this... thing out of his residence. He could barely see still though, his pupils beginning to fade.
He then suddenly leaped over the table, as if possessed by some sort of demon, teeth bared - so unusual
for a species usually so calm. He brawled with the other kalon, his rage unbarring. He tackled and held
the other kalon to the floor, he could feel the fear rising from the other kalon - which was when he began
to question his morality. Was this right? Was it right for him to attack? Was it right for him... he took a
shaky step off of the other kalon, who bolted straight for the door. Fortune coughed, and stumbled back
into the table, his head pounding, his senses fading, the candles lost their glow that night.
Fortune stared blankly into the mirror.
There was nothing left in his eyes.
