Plushies ;; The plushies that adorn Bea's bed, clog her stairwell, and are littered over every area of the house are her dearest audience. Her goal in life is to become a lead singer in a musical, and thus she makes sure to practice time and time again, whenever she can, so that eventually she'll be brave enough to go for an audition. The plushies don't judge, after all, and they make for a marvelously polite and quiet audience. They also serve as a comfort to Bea - that is, whenever she's down or angry or upset, she can always bury herself in a pile of plushies and never come out (never come out as in, not come out until she's hungry again).

Friendship with Trico ;; Beatrix and Trico had grown up together, and Bea had always admired her. Trico was pretty, and calm, and always had the exact words that Beatrix needed to succeed or feel better. Now, they're still close friends who enjoy hanging out as often as they can! Bea worked hard to gain Trico's trust, and it was certainly worth it.

Happy New Year! The past few years have been rough; almost every kit in this town has somehow snuck into my house and stolen my stuff and sabotaged me at least once. As Arthur said, I need to do what's right for me, and I think this year I'll make it finally happen. I've decided that this will finally be the year that I open up to another person of my age. If this doesn't work out for me, I have no idea what is to come of me. Wish me luck.

It's finally Valentine's Day, and I think I've met the person that I needed to make it through this life: Vanessa Harstad. She's an absolute sweetheart with the cutest daughter, Sarah. Sarah stays away from me currently, but I really hope she'll learn to warm up to me. Vanessa and I met during a book signing a couple days ago when she was getting 30 or so books for her classroom and I was getting my favorite book signed: Between Shades of Grey. We began to talk as we sat in line together, and soon exchanged phone numbers, something I've never done in my life. I plan to call her tonight to see if she wants to meet up; I'd love to get something to eat with her.

She's the best person I've ever met, and I never want her to leave. Vanessa and I met up three times since the last entry here, and they were the best times I've had since school. We met up at various places and spent the whole day together. I learned a lot about her, including the orphanage she's in the process of creating for kids and even adults who don;t have a good shelter. I admitted to the one thing that keeps kids coming to me for more and more, my stuffed animals. I admitted to it all: how I rip them apart when I'm full of emotions, how I sew them back together when I'm done as an "apology", how I make entirely new animals from the appendages of each original animal. She made me feel like it was normal for a person to do this, and it meant the world to me. Sarah still hides behind Vanessa when I'm around, but I know the perfect way to show her that I'm not the bad guy here.
